If you are thinking about it, book it!

I can’t say enough about this lodge. We had the best time just being with family and all able to stay together in one house. The lodge was very clean, had everything you could possibly need. Very short walk to the water and nice covered porches and carport area. We had the best time and couldn’t have asked for more! Campground is right beside the lodge but everyone was very quite and had no problems at all. Bring your fishing poles. We caught so many fish we had a fish fry that evening for the whole family!

Peaceful Getaway

This is our 3rd time staying at the Lodge for our family Christmas. It is absolutely the perfect place for our multi generational group. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and the host/owner is absolutely exceptional!!

Great stay and lodge was as expected!

Check-in and out process was smoothe and simple. The owner had great communication and allowed us to host our daughter first birthday party here. Neighborhood is quiet and lodge was very clean!

Perfect for gatherings!

This was our 2nd year of celebrating Christmas at the lodge, which was beautiful decorated for the holidays. Our family of 10 had plenty of room and the grandkids really enjoy the loft area. The owners take pride in their well maintained facility … it’s clean, comfortable, and well equipped. They have a nice outdoor area, fire pit, and just a short walk to the lake.

Girl Scout Summer Trip

We had such an amazing time! The property is absolutely beautiful. It was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The campground next to the lodge was never an issue. The house was still very quiet and we had plenty of privacy. The dinning room table was one of our favorite things about the house. All the girls could sit together to eat, work on their badges and play games. And the property was a quick drive over to Callaway Gardens! It was truly wonderful! The girls had the time of their lives! We hope to bring them back again!

Country Oasis

The Newnmor lodge was exceptional in every way! The host were super kind and easy to contact if we needed anything during our stay.We were celebrating my daughter's graduation and the place was able to accommodate everyone perfectly. Not to mention the beauty of the space. The cabin vibe along with the personal touches made the area welcoming and comfortable. The short walk to the lake puts the cherry on top of the cake! Having the option to fish or just kick back and relax by the water was so serene! My family could not stop bragging on this place. We will definitely be visiting again!

Great for a group

This property was wonderful. Everything was as it is described in the listing despite the pictures not including all of the beds/rooms. The property is right near the water and offered a wonderful outdoor space. The outdoor seating area lacks a little privacy since cars were driving by to reach the RV park but we parked a car to block the area and it work out great. Also, the address on the listing is not the one that Google Maps used to get us there so we had some trouble finding the place.

Perfect For Family Gatherings

The Lodge exceeded our expectations. The owners were wonderful to work with, they even setup a Christmas tree for our family’s celebration. The pictures online don’t do it justice … Clean, spacious, and well stocked. You have a beautiful view of the river which has a well maintained area for fishing & great for the kids to play. There is an RV park next door, but we never had any issues with noise or privacy. The grandkids can’t wait to visit again!

The place is absolutely beautiful

The property is absolutely amazing, and very clean. The only downside is the campground that is not shown in the photos when looking it up. It seemed a lot more private and tucked away by itself. Was still very peaceful and amazing property. We will stay again and highly recommend this property.

Family reunion

The property was a great location for a long weekend and our family reunion. Forty of us gathered one day to enjoy time together. The owners were helpful and responsive to any questions we had when preparing for the reunion. The lodge had plenty of room for us all to gather and enjoy a beautiful day! It also had all the essentials necessary to make it a success. We are thankful the owners share a property that allows for larger events, because many VRBO’s do not!

Loved our stay at Newmor. Everything was clean and well organized!

We stayed 5 nights at Newmor. It was a very pleasant and quiet getaway for our family. Nine beds in one house made it easy for us to sleep comfortably. We had all of the amenities of home. We got lost while looking for the home at first. Our host stayed on the phone with me and guided me to the location. We will be returning as the home is located close to our hometown!

My wedding weekend was amazing on this property!

We rented the loader from Friday- Sunday so we could have a small wedding! It was the perfect day we didn’t realize there were RV spots right by the lodge, but the people there were so nice and friendly and made sure to let us have our day and kinda stay away from the lodge and where we had the ceremony by the water!
