I booked a king suite several days before arrival. Upon arrival I was told no king suites were available even though another customer booked the last king suite the same day of our arrival. This was really unfair since I had booked several days earlier. The manger and desk person took over ten minutes to determine what happened and advise me of their mistake and that the room I booked would not be available. On top of that they offered me no reduction in price even though the room we stayed in was a lower cost than the king suite we had reserved. This rooms have not been kept up to Holiday Inn standards that I'm used too. Our tub and drain were rusted and very unsightly. The staff and facility are way below what customers should expect from Holiday Inn properties. In my opinion this hotel is one step above camping. Where is my credit from Holiday Inn or Orbitz? It's only $20 but that's not the point. A credit should have been offered. I'm completely dissatisfied with this below expectations property. Never again.

Staff was great! Had an issue with the key cards, and couldnt get in the room. Had to reset the actual lock on the door. Then the AC wasnt working. Came in and did a few things, and got it working. So, staff was great to fix what needed fixing. Breakfast was ok.

What stood out the most was that this is one of the few hotels left that still has standard size pillows on the beds. We stayed here twice in the past month, and both times the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the breakfast was good (love their biscuits!) Great location right off of I-40. Maybe a little pricy, but worth it.
