Absolutely beautiful!

Do not hesitate to book this Carriage House! Theresa is very quick to respond to any questions you have. The rental is spotless. The property grounds were stunning. A short walk up to the beach area past the main home has chairs and the water is crystal clear. The rental has its own little patio with firepit, wood and grill. There were k-cups which were much appreciated along with creamer. Makeup wipes in the bathroom. A nice cushiony tub mat in the shower. Super thick plush bath towels. Books to read, games to play. Too many perfect little touches provided to list! The bed was very comfy. If you like to sleep in, I would stay in the bedroom on the West side so the morning sun doesnt wake you. We are early risers so it wasnt an issue for us. The location is perfect. We visited Suttons Bay, Traverse City, Fishtown, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Vans Beach where I found some Leland Blues while rock picking. Fiddlers has an awesome breakfast and The Pour House is a very quaint local restaurant with delicious food. We will definitely be back when we take our next roadtrip!

Beautiful cottage!

My sister and I came up for a weekend of wine tasting and shopping. This cottage was perfect for that. The location was great, a quick drive to Traverse City, Glen Arbor, and Suttons Bay. The cottage was super clean, the rooms were larger than we were expecting and it had everything we needed for a weekend away. The host answered questions we had immediately. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a relaxing getaway!

Gorgeous property!

The Carriage house is in the perfect location to access Leland, Sutton’s Bay, Northport, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The house is well equipped and immaculately clean. The owners were very response to any questions we had. Access to Lake Leelanau is just steps away and the entire property is gorgeous. We will definitely stay at the Carriage house again.

Anniversary Getaway

Our stay was wonderful. Theresa contacted us to share the check-in process. She was very friendly and helpful. The place was incredibly clean and well maintained. The colors and calming decor made the stay very relaxing. It was also located close to hiking opportunities and a multitude of good local restaurants. If we ever visit the area again we will definitely stay here.

Leland cottage

Cottage was lovely and clean. The area is beautiful, but unfortunately we had cloudy and rainy days. We walked out to the water when we arrived and it's crystal clear, would have loved sitting there for awhile but weather didn't agree. Good food in the area and great shopping.

Wonderful getaway in Leelanau!

We had a wonderful stay at the Carriage House- just beautiful and even more spacious than we were anticipating. We cooked a few times in the kitchen - definitely very well equipped. Quiet, peaceful, clean and relaxing, we had a fantastic trip! The house was perfection - and is in a great location as we made our way around the peninsula visiting many wineries. Thank you Theresa- we hope to stay with you again!

Simply beautiful!

We had an amazing and peaceful stay in Leelanau at Theresa's place. An easy walk to a sandy beach, and so many delightful places to visit nearby! The cottage included many extras, making our stay easy and special. I highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely delightful

Theresa and Ron are delightful hosts and the property is exactly as described. The carriage house is new, clean, and has all of the amenities you need for a great stay. It's ideal for two couples or in my case, for myself and my college age son. The living space is perfect, the outdoor space is private and with gardens that are impeccable. I texted Theresa a few times about a couple of questions and she replied instantly. Leland is the Land of Delight and the carriage house allows you to enjoy the town of Leland, the lake itself and it is simply blissful. I would definitely rent this carriage house again !

Sister Getaway Reprieve

My Sister and I had the most amazing getaway for five days. This property is incredible from location, layout, design and amenities. The owners are incredibly delightful and have created a beautiful carriage garage lodging space. The rental offers a beautiful beach, outdoor grill and sitting area not to mention a beautifully decorated rental space. The kitchen offers everything you need should you choose to prepare your own meals, the décor is open, airy and bright with the best luxury towels in the bathroom. Truly beyond a 5 star rating, highly recommend! Close to wineries, Lake MI and on the direct north side of Lake Leelanau shoreline and great restaurants and shopping in the area.

Great Beach House

Pictures displayed were very accurate! The picture from the beach is exactly what you get to enjoy and is truly best seen and experienced live! The place was extremely clean and had all the dishes and utensils you can use during your stay! Theresa and Ron were fantastic hosts and we look forward to renting from them again to enjoy the quiet north lake life 5 minutes from Leland.

Slice of Heaven

This was a fantastic experience from check-in to check-out. Theresa is very communicative and we knew exactly what to expect upon our arrival. The property is SUPER CLEAN and very well appointed with high end linens, towels, etc. The location can not be beat-wineries, Fishtown, Sleeping Bear and Manitou are all short distances away. We loved the property and look forward to relaxing there again very soon!

Relaxing stay on Lake Leelanau

We decided to get out of town to work remotely while kids were off on their own activities. Found this beautiful property on Lake Leelanau. The place was perfect for the two of us. Place was very clean and the entire place was updated and decorated with a boating theme. It was quiet and the wifi worked great while both of us worked on our computers. There are a lot of activities nearby too. In evening it was nice to sit on the beach and enjoy a bottle of wine. Our hosts were great and fun to talk to. They offered us to join them on a ride around the lake. Found out last day that they had a pontoon boat we could rent. Definitely recommend this place.

Wedding weekend in Leland

Great Fall Weekend

Beautiful new condo in a perfect location. Really appreciated how easy it was to arrive, park, get into the unit and settle in. Everything you could need from kitchenware to propane grill and firepit with firewood. Owners were very friendly, we will be back!
