The room had a terrible musty smell. You could hear the people in the next room. You can hear the highway, as the property is just off the highway. The windows do not open. The a/c is quite loud. The linen is sub par. The staff was generally alright. The continental breakfast decent.

Never have i ever...

Hotel tried to charge room deposit at 9am PRIOR to check in. When my CC company flagged it as suspicious the hotel threatened to cancel our reservations. Got that sorted out by providing ANOTHER card number. Was told breakfast was from 7 to 10am...but upon arrival to the breakfast room at 9:02am, they were out of 80% off what they serve. We were told flat out that there is no more. Terrible service. Will NOT be returning. May even avoid ALL Monte Carlo Inns. Was told these issues wrre due to "hotel policy".

BEWARE before booking this hotel – horrible experience! My wife and I stayed at this hotel last weekend, traveling from Calgary to Toronto. We booked it through Expedia because the price seemed like a good deal—but trust me, it wasn’t worth it. Here’s what went wrong: 1. Suspicious activity: Someone knocked on our door around midnight. When we opened it, no one was there. It was unsettling and made us feel unsafe. 2. Missing belongings: We accidentally left behind an iPhone charger and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka (worth about $100 combined). When we returned the same evening to ask for our items, the front desk and even the manager claimed nothing was found. The housekeeper also denied seeing anything. Either they don’t care about guests’ belongings—or worse, things just “disappear” here. This experience was extremely disappointing. If you forget anything valuable, don’t expect to get it back. Think twice before booking this shady hotel. Sometimes a cheaper deal comes with a bigger cost. Avoid if you value peace of mind and basic honesty.

Friendly staff convenient location The breakfast server was amazing, she has lots of experience and patient. We witnessed a "Karen" who used toaster to burn Croissants, and then demanded water to cool down the burning ..... even My 8 years old could read the big sign beside the toaster, how and what to do there... Big cheers to this breakfast lady who smiled and helped evenyone.

Our recent two-night stay at your establishment was significantly marred by several unacceptable issues. Upon arrival, despite our booking costing over $400, we were assigned a basement-level room. This room was characterized by a strong, unpleasant musty odor. Additionally, the room's window directly overlooked the parking area, resulting in a complete lack of privacy. We promptly requested a different room due to these conditions and were subsequently moved to a fourth-floor room. Unfortunately, this alternative accommodation presented an even more concerning problem: a pervasive ant infestation. We observed numerous ants throughout the room, including on our clothing, food items, and, most disturbingly, on the bed itself. We possess photographic and video evidence documenting this unhygienic situation. When we brought these significant hygiene concerns to the attention of the front desk staff, the response was unhelpful. We were informed that no other rooms were available, and the staff offered no resolution or acknowledgement of the issue. We were simply advised to contact the manager. As a direct consequence of these conditions and the lack of support, we experienced considerable discomfort and were unable to rest or eat properly. This ultimately compelled us to depart from the hotel prematurely, resulting in a thoroughly disappointing and unsatisfactory experience, especially given the expectation associated with the booking cost.
