The two male check-in staff were great. Polite, efficient and welcoming. Just what we needed after a long flight. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The communual areas were well maintained. The shuttle bus service to and from the airport was a mixed experience. We lost an hour of our stay waiting to be picked up from the airport and we saw many other hotels shuttle services come and go several times whilst we waited for one. You have to book at the hotel but the service was good on the return from the hotel to the airport. The two female check in staff on day two were not friendly or helpful. They were both curt and disinterested.

The transport access was inadequate to meet the demand of guests. The communication between the front desk staff and shuttle drivers was inconsistent.

The staff did not show empathy or care when I told them my truck was stolen. They could careless and charged me regular rate because I stayed another to file police report and hoping my truck was recovered. Cars are no longer safe at Toronto area and vicinity. We came from the US for Caribana weekend. Not a good weekend. No one from Double Tree by Hilton reached out to me.
