Best Casita: A Hidden Jewel Next To The Plaza.

This hidden jewel only a block from Taos Plaza is part of a historical hacienda style adobe that once housed nuns working at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Newly and tastefully renovated, the interior was designed with comfort and convenience in mind, and it features high ceilings, a well appointed kitchen, oak floors, a kiva fireplace, and a cozy living area. An old apple tree and a plum tree stand in a small, grassy courtyard that feels almost Mediterranean in it's serenity. It is located on a quiet one-way street only one block west of the Taos plaza.

Gas range and a large collection of cooking supplies. French door refrigerator, microwave. Full size washer and dryer, heated bathroom floor, a gas heating stove and a kiva fireplace. Electric baseboard heater in bedroom, ceiling fans. Premium linens and a down comforter and pillows; a comfortable plush/firm Queen mattress. Full sleeper sofa with memory foam topped mattress. High speed internet, HDTV, Blue Ray/DVD player, surround sound entertainment system, NetFlix streaming on Roku, Pandora/Spotify/Apple Airplay ready stereo system.

The location of the apartment is one of it's greatest assets. From the front door, a five minute walk will reach twelve restaurants, dozens of galleries, the best coffee in town (The World Cup), Shree Yoga Studio, Smith's grocery store, the Bent Street shopping district, Ledoux Street, and of course, the Taos Plaza.
The apartment is heated and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player and Netflix. This is such a lovely spot in the heart of Taos. It’s quiet and quaint with the perfect Northern New Mexico touches combined with modern conveniences. The list (in the guest info book) of recommended things to do is a great way to see the area. We loved hiking in the ski valley and along the Gorge. Exploring the plaza and downtown on foot was a delight from this location as well. The local teas were a treat and such a thoughtful way to welcome a guest. Thank you for another delightful stay in your Casita—we will be back!

Excellent location and charming casita in the heart of Taos

This secluded little casita is quaint and historic but tucked right in the heart of downtown Taos. It was well appointed to accommodate our family of 3 nicely. We loved the outdoor courtyard, wood floors, fireplace and heated bathroom floors. It was a treat to experience Taos here.

Good location near the main shopping Taos Plaza, and close to the main road (64), and walkable to several restaurants. Very clean unit and the sleeper sofa made the additional bed we needed. A nice bonus was the heated floors in the bathroom.

Womderful Casita in Taos

My wife and I had a splendid five day holiday in Taos. We stayed at a beautiful one bedroom Casita a block from the Main Plaza. Marcus was a wonderful host and welcomed us upon our arrival. He showed us around the place and gave us great advice on things to do and places to eat in Taos. The Casita was extremely clean and comfortable and had all the amenities. We hope to come back!

Great Place

Everything at this place was high end, appliances, comfortable bed, towel and even a stocked pantry. Close to the plaza and many great eating places. Fun to shop and people watch. Had a wonderful time and would return. Marcus was wonderful, he even gave us some folding chairs to use, so we could go and sit in the plaza for the music concert on Thursday nights. 5+ stars!!!!!

Loved this place, very well equipped perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked with quality pans and utensils, not the cheap stuff you usually find in rental properties, they even have a nespresso machine and provide capsules for your stay, nice touch! The one recommendation I have for the owners, it might be time to upgrade the sofa bed, not an issue for my two young kids, but maybe for older kids or adults. Location is in the heart of Taos. Would love to come back soon!!!!
