We love the spacious family room and the convenient location. It is located next to the bus station and near the train station. We made day trips to Shirakawa-go and Kanazawa. The staff are very friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at Residence Hotel Takayama Station. The location is extremely convenient—right next to the JR train station and bus terminal, making it easy to get anywhere. Despite this, the room was very quiet thanks to the double-glazed sliding doors; I couldn’t hear any train or bus noise at all. The hotel is within short walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, and local attractions. Everything was very clean, and the reception staff were gentle, courteous, and always greeted guests with friendly smiles. The room layout is well designed, with cooking and washing facilities available. I especially appreciated the door separating the kitchen from the bedroom, so there were no lingering cooking smells. The toilet is also in a separate room from the bathroom, which is a big plus. Even though it was very cold outside, the room was warm and cosy. Umbrellas are also provided for rainy days, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay—I would happily return. punchy,” I can tweak it in seconds 🙂

Spacious apartment complete with washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove and tub centrally located in town for an exceptionally reasonable price. The train station was behind us and the promised soundproofing was great. Some staff were able to speak English and were incredibly kind and helpful. Love the eco cleaning system! We extended our stay two more days to enjoy Takayama. Well worth it!

Had a great stay at this hotel! Perfect location close to the train and bus station and within walking distance to main attractions in the area. The room was so spacious and had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day!

The rooms were clean, and the staff was very helpful with regard to shopping for groceries and suggesting places to eat. They even had umbrellas to use in case of rain. Great place to stay.

The staff was super sweet, nice and helpful. They call for a taxi for me for a drop off and pick up. Room was spacious with amenities (drinks) and super clean. Location was great just like couple of minutes to train and bus station and walkable to many sights and to places to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are great for a single or multi-night stay. There's a small kitchen with the essentials for cooking. Convenient location next to the train station, but also has a small parking garage. Rooms are well insulated so train noise is not an issue.
