Very nice boutique hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Ann at the front desk was extremely friendly and very helpful and made the stay very enjoyable. The Onsen is small but worked fine. The rooms are not very soundproof but still somewhat quiet.

Amazingly located, striking architecture, friendly and accommodating staff. The quality of the amenities and the quality of service & small touches is very good. Website does not work properly and is outdated as mentioned a free early morning walking tour but staff did not know anything about this so assume it does not run any longer. The free bar is such a nice touch, though I wonder if the hotel should actually charge or somehow limit number of drinks per guest. Would definitely stay again!
