We had a poor experience with this hotel. The door to our room #203 would not lock. In fact, any slight pressure to the door from the outside just opens it easily. We informed the front desk and they were UNABLE to help us stating there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO despite calling their general manager. We were quite upset.
It was 745pm on a Saturday night. We were stuck. We were limited on options for booking another hotel on a Saturday night and we had dinner reservations at 8pm! Because of our dinner reservations, we repacked our luggages and belongings and placed them in our car for secure safe keeping. After dinner, we returned to our room #203 with the faulty lock, unloaded our luggages from our car and unpacked in our room again. During the night, we used the flip lock. Breakfast followed the same pattern of repacking our luggage to be placed in the car.
This was such an inconvenience for us and very poor service. If this hotel could not fix a faulty door lock “after hours”, what would happen if there are other service issues like a toilet leak?! I’m disappointed in this hotel. Despite all the listed amenities and location, this leaves such a poor taste and bitter lasting impression.
