The property was beautiful. The trail around the hotel, the tree top adventure next to it mad it unique. I have one BIG COMPLAIN. We chose this expensive hotel to spend a nice evening. At 8:30 pm we ask for a glass of wine, a bear and a bottle of water. We were told everything was closed due o other events and that they could not help in anyway. The vending machine wasn't working so we couldn't even have a bottle of water. Why spend this money on a hotel that can't provide us with a glass of wine. I'll never come back and I'll write a review on yelp. I should have gone to a chip hotel.

Very nice and kids sledding area. Kids love it. Room is very good, buffet is very good.

Gorgeous place to stay when you’d like quite to get away from the city. The room was small but it was good for us. They didn’t have coffee cups in the morning so we called the front desk and they were at our door within 5 minutes. Great and very friendly employees. Would definitely come back if we came to Tahoe City again!

Very nice and family friendly hotel. There's good breakfast every morning, and dinner at the restaurant is very awesome.

Great value, location, and one of the better breakfast buffet I've seen for a lodge/resort. My room was a last minute booking and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and amenities at this resort. I would definitely come back again and this lodge will be my top choice. Room: solid 4 star room. Clean, modern, functional, and well heated. The room was small but I wasn't spending my entire day in the room. The heated floor in my bathroom was a bonus. Breakfast: I was expecting a continental breakfast and was surprised by the full hot breakfast. Eggs benedict, toast, fresh fruit, bread pudding. etc. A great value for the price of the room.

Very convenient location for skiing in North Tahoe resorts.

This was a good location hotel close to all Northern activities.

The hotel, overall, is quite nice. Our room was showing age and was rather small for the price. But the staff was great, as was the breakfast buffet.

beds very comfy, got upgraded, lots of towels, complimentary coupons were the best.

I stayed here on a half-price deal during Tahoe's off-season - Squaw had recently opened but very little was opened, I have a season pass, and wanted to ski a few runs. - The overall amenities were in line with my expectations for what I paid, not really with full price. Clean comfortable room, refrig, wifi - hot tub if I request. Three star, basically. - The setting is quite nice, secluded and quiet. - I arrived early, my room wasn't ready but the staff offered to check me in and call me on cell when the room was ready, they did so promptly. It had snowed and continued to snow-shower overnight, the drive and walkways were kept as clear as I could expect given the temperature (it was too cold for salt to be very effective, though they applied it anyway) - The included breakfast was quite nice. Recommending enthusiastically based on the deal I got, not so much based on normal pricing.

We loved the location, all the things to do there, the breakfast buffet was great. The room was very clean, but no air conditioning. We would stay there again! Fabulous for families with teens and children.

I would stay there again. Rooms are not perfect; furniture is outdated, but good enough for family with kids. Great location!

It was very quiet, clean & very nice big breakfast.

Hotel room was close to very good, no chairs to set in and read, light was also bad. Room was a very good valve compared to what the wedding party got for their dollar. Nice and peaceful with a great breakfast (better than the best hotels). Would book again with Orbitz Phyllis

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are sorry our staff was unable to help you with your request. Our lobby bar is now open from 9:00-9:00pm and someone at the front desk should have been able to provide you with wine, beer and water from our kitchen without any issue. It seems as though we missed the mark during your stay in this area. I have passed your comments on to the relevant department heads and on to the General Manager, and we will work to improve the rooms and service for future guests. We would love the opportunity to discuss your concerns further with you. Please contact our Front Desk Manager, Adam Vincent, at adamvincent@granlibakken… or at 530-+581-7306. We look forward to making things right by you. Thank you again for your feedback.
