For a budget hotel, I really enjoyed my stay. The staff is what really sets this place apart. Everyone was very friendly! The room was spacious and clean, although a bit dated in some aspects (the color scheme was interesting). Couple of things I wished it had - hair dryer, plastic cups for water, and a clock… but that’s me being nit picky :)

Beautiful place to stay. Only one night, however, I wished it was more! Comfy beds, very nice patio to sit and relax. One piece of advice, check to see if they are having a wedding or another event at the boathouse. I was there on a Sunday night and it was loud. Could not sleep, people walking by patio until 11 pm.

We actually got moved from this property to the Henderson Castle because when we checked in they off an upgrade for no extra charge. The castle was beautiful. The food was excellent and staff were wonderful.
