It's an older hotel, but rooms were clean and staff was friendly and very helpful. An error was made (by me) when I reserved the room, and the hotel went over and above to straighten things out for me. It was very much appreciated!

One staff behind desk, seemed like I was a bother. Did not tell me where elevator was. Had a problem finding my room. Room.. door was very thin and small, no tub. Nothing in room to tell me anything like restraunts, shopping, tv very limited. Room was clean. No coffee pot. Neon light shining in my window. Would not recommend for a single woman

An updated vintage hotel with lots of history dating back to 1924. Enjoyed our stay.

A sensitively restored 100 year old hotel with decent comforts and some charm. Fewer amenities than the better chains but far more pleasant. Quiet, dignified, good staff. The Androy probably has best breakfast in town.

It’s an old hotel with old world charm. Clean enough, not musty smelling. Bathroom was small but usable. Convenient downtown location.

There was nothing great about my stay. My room was relatively clean. It was super hot and there was no air conditioning. I left the windows open my entire stay. No amenities to speak of. I picked the Androy because it was cheaper than most places in Duluth. Probably won’t stay there again. The bed was comfortable, but that’s about the only positive thing about it.

The room was not super clean. The hotel have very “sketchy” patrons living in it. My room was facing the street and it was so loud from the street noise until around 2am. The pillows were awful, flat & hard. I found 2 plug ins- 1 had an extension cord attached to it behind the bed I had to plug into, the elevator made “clunking” noises which was terrifying. I was told to not walk the aid streets alone which I would never anyway but to have to be warned was not a feeling of coziness.

Classic old hotel in an awful area. The noise from the people leaving the local bars (yelling, fighting and swearing) was disturbing and went on for most of the night.
