We had the most wonderful time staying in the Palm bungalow. It is just steps away from the pool oasis where we spent our days relaxing and grilling. We then drove into Key West in the evenings. Very convenient location where you get the best of both worlds of serenity and relaxation, but also close enough to drive into town. The sunrises, and the waterfront and beachfront views are beautiful. We enjoyed the natural setting, felt like we were in our own little paradise. The host Cadmier is amazing and was always available if needed. We are already planning another stay for next year.

Excellent place to stay if you are seeking a getaway off the beaten path. Well landscaped to give privacy to each bungalow. 2 amazing piers to fish/jet ski from. The pool and grill area is a PERFECT place to cool off and escape the heat with the swim up bar. The staff even gave us coconuts to enjoy fresh from their trees. Each day we saw amazing wildlife and even had key deer visit us. We are considering booking the whole place for a family reunion. Would also make for a great corporate retreat.

Excellent pool and outdoor kitchen. Grounds are meticulously maintained. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Just a bit dated for the cost. Great location.

Great location

We had a great time at this out-of-the-way spot. It was quiet, beautiful, and comfortable. Lots to do around the property. The pool area is especially beautiful. Highly recommend!

Perfect Escape from Snow!

My wife and I stayed for one week and enjoyed every day! Great property and location and Cadmier was an excellent host. We have stayed here before and will continue to make this our base for exploring the Keys!

Property was spectacular with the exception of the bed. Very hard mattress and none of us slept well.

Great location for enjoying nature

Kayaks, two excellent docks for fishing, bikes, coconut trees, a really extraordinary pool, well maintained barbecue places and many more options to spend an exciting time on the Keys. Key West is close nevertheless this location is quiet and you can enjoy nature.

Beautiful Property

Our family loved this property overall. The relaxing views and peace and quiet in this small gated community really gives you the chance to relax in privacy. The house could use some updating, but the outside is where it really counted for us. We had an issue with the thermostat that was fixed within minutes of contacting the host, they were very responsive and we appreciated it. The "no-see-um" bugs (the size of a flea) do bite and they are not shy. I recommend using a DEET based bug spray if you plan on being outside for extended time as it was the only spray that seemed to work. Overall this property has some really wonderful views, amenities, and privacy that our family really enjoyed.

A Wonderful Week in the Keys

Our family of 4 had a wonderful week at “The Palm” at Sugarloaf Beach. As advertised and as others had mentioned, the seaweed (smelly at times) and bugs were present, but we expected it going in and it didn’t take away from all the fun we had on the beach and in the pool. The beach area directly in front of the house is perfect for lounging in the sun, searching for shells and sea glass, and playing in the sand. The tiki lounge area to the right of the house was a great area to hang out on and we enjoyed a couple of picnics there. The pool/grilling area is beautiful and we took advantage of it almost every day. The big pool was kept nice and warm too. The house is definitely in need of updating and lacks simple touches of a rental (missing a toilet paper holder in one bathroom, no hot pads for the oven, no kitchen dish towels, no ice machine/molds, no laundry baskets, etc.), but all minor inconveniences. While the property is out in the middle of nowhere (part of the appeal), it was convenient enough to make day trips into Key West and Marathon during the week. Overall, we had a great week and would return again in the future.

Beach Bungalow - Beautiful views!

Beautiful secure area of the Keys with your own private beach. Easy access to the water with many amenities such as bicycles, paddle boards and kayaks. Very nice, semi-private pool area with plenty of grills and seating areas. Maintenance staff very friendly and worked hard to keep the facility clean and appealing. Property owner/manager very accessible and responded quickly to our questions and requests. Also, close to Key West without the traffic and people congestion. Thank you for making our experience wonderful!

Relaxation achieved!!

Our little slice of Paradise for 5 days was AMAZING!!! The bungalow provided everything that was needed… A beachfront and oceanfront oasis was the ultimate for relaxing and reconnecting … The pool was absolutely incredible along with the grills for cooking, water slide for pool entertainment, swim up bar for BYOB drinks and snacks plus the huge TV for entertainment or football watching… but the one thing that made this an AMAZING experience was the HOST!!! He was responsive to my inquiries or texts within mere MINUTES!! Nothing went unanswered… Check in and check out process was beyond easy… And he always wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed and were fully accommodated, as we expected to be!! This host is incredible along with all of the maintenance staff, and everybody involved!! We would definitely Book with this host, and any of their properties again!!
