Nice location; close enough to Key West to go and visit easily but far enough away to be peaceful and apart. Felt like a 70's dive motel but conditions were a bit better than expected. No real beach or accessible water although you were right on the water on a bay.
Beautiful views of the water. Marina on site. Restaurant on site but did not use. The Tiki bar that was a great part of thye experience of staying here is now closed and the lady at the desk did not give us hope it would be opening anytime soon. One of the beds smelled like it had been heavily sprayed with air freshener and the other one was well used and in need of replacement. Hopefully, they will rebound as I'vs been staying here for 5 years on vacations but not sure I will until the Tiki bar re-opens.
Location is perfect, rooms are clean and spacious. Morning coffee is great. Water pressure in shower is about a 2 out of 10.
This hotel is a very old building and the room is smelling very bad. AC dosent work and not worth for the amount paid. No Wifi password was given and there are lot of bugs outside the room.
It is a nice motel for budget travelers. The room is big and clean. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that there is no microwave in the room or in the lobby, which would be helpful for night travelers.
The facilities are 1950's and in major need of an update. Water was steps from the room and beyond gorgeous.
Had fun at lodge need to let your guests fish on site your are paying a lot of money to STAY
