Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer für eine Nacht an einem der heißen Sommertage, Anreise spät abends mit Hund. Der Check in funktionierte reibungslos. Ich bekam eine Nachricht, dass mein Zimmer Schlüssel in einem Außensafe liegt, dazu einen Code. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und unfassbar heiß. Eine mobile Klimaanlage stand direkt neben dem Bett. Ich hatte nun die Wahl zwischen Pest und Cholera: Fenster auf und laut (Bahnlinie und Hauptstrasse) oder Fenster zu und genau so laut (Klimaanlage), dazu dann noch trockene Luft). Fazit: in dieser Nacht habe ich kein Auge zugedrückt. In einer normalen Nacht wäre das aber alles kein Problem gewesen und ich hätte gut geschlafen. Hotel und Zimmer machten grundsätzlich einen sauberen Eindruck, da ich das Bett noch etwas von der Klimaanlage weg gerückt habe, fiel mir allerdings auf, dass unter dem Bett nicht ganz so gründlich gereinigt wurde. Am nächsten Morgen dann nur positive Überraschungen: Eine betont herzliche und verständnisvolle Rezeptionistin, die durch ihre entgegenkommende Art verstand, alles vergessen zu machen. Hätte ich ein Hotel, würde ich sie sofort abwerben. Zweite Überraschung: ein gutes Frühstück, wie ich es für diese Kategorie nicht erwartet habe. Und dritte Überraschung: die Übernachtung des Hundes wurde mir nicht berechnet. Die Lage des Hotel: 2 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof. Und circa 5 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur hübschen Innenstadt. Fazit: wenn es nicht so heiß gewesen wäre, hätte ich mich dort durchaus wohl gefühlt.

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Das Personal des Hotels ist supernett und hilfsbereit, angefangen von der Rezeption bis zur Reinigungskraft. Die Ausstattung ist zweckmäßig, im Zimmer gab es sogar Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Sehr positiv ist auch der kostenlose Kaffee-und Teeservice rund um die Uhr. Die Straßen, an denen das Hotel liegt sind leider sehr befahren und dementsprechend laut, auch wenn es gute Schallschutzfenster gibt. Ein Stressfaktor ist die Parksituation. Es handelt sich dabei um eine Gasse hinterm Hotel und wenn dort mehrere Autos hintereinander parken, muss vorab geklärt werden, wer wann losfährt. Das empfand ich als sehr störend.

Sehr positiv aufgefallen ist die kompetente und äussert hilfsbereite Dame an der Reception. was nicht so gut war, dass der Bettüberwurf auf seiner Unterseite grosse Fettflecken aufwies. Habe es gemeldet. Im grossen und ganzen ist das Haus weiter zu empfehlen.
