Great location, beautiful view of the ocean so many restaurants and activities within walking distance great for retired couples or families. The pool was so nice.

Easy walk to the beach and to John’s pass. Wish there was a bathroom at pool or lower level. I would stay here again. So glad there was an outdoor hose on side to rinse off! Only thing I would add for 1706 is a beach wagon, umbrella and more Tupperware or food storage with lids. Other than that a great stay!

This was our 3rd year at this property. Everything was great! Washer and dryer were very loud and probably need replaced but otherwise, it was perfect! Can’t wait to come back next year!

Friends getaway

The condo location was perfect, beach across the street and restaurants, activities, and shops a few blocks away. It was nice to have two bathrooms and a nice balcony to sit on. Only complaint was the floor felt dirty upon arrival and very limited cooking supplies. Otherwise great stay!

This is the second year in a row that we’ve stayed at this property and plan to continue for many years to come. The proximity to John’s Pass is perfect and the view is amazing. The second bedroom is a little small but overall the condo has everything you need.

Madeira Bay Resort 1

Being only a few years old, the building is still in good shape and updated. The condo itself is is updated and nice. Best thing about this is the location. You can pretty much walk to anything especially the easy access to the beach. I would say the only big issue for such a newer building is that there is only 1 elevator. You spent a lot of time waiting for it and it runs slow. There are 2 stairs at each end of the building but from the 7 floor it is hot, so good luck. It is a small issue and can be dealt with but don’t expect to get up or down quickly. This new of a building easily could have 2 elevators.

Ideal spot!

Can’t beat this location! Loved the proximity to John’s Pass and that there was a pedestrian crosswalk right in front of our building. The unit we rented was clean and exactly as pictured. Only suggestion would be to add a wine opener to the kitchen supplies.

Great views and great location. Unit itself wasn’t as clean as I expected. First thing I saw upon arrival was hand prints all over the patio door. Not a good first impression. No laundry detergent provided, only 1 roll of TP provided, after we purchased laundry pods and attempted to use the washing machine, it sounded like a jet airplane. Walls are all scuffed up. Water pressure is non-existent. I will not seek out this particular unit again but the building itself is great and I’ve stayed in another unit here and was beyond pleased with it. Thanks.

Would recommend this condo to stay at

Our overall experience was great! We would stay here again. The condo we stayed in was awesome. It was well equipped with almost anything that you would need. It had a great view and was a short walk to the beach and it had everything you would need to spend the days on the beach. We didn’t know the pool at the condo was closed due to construction prior to our arrival. That was definitely a negative. The woman who checked us in could have been nicer and more understanding instead of talking about us from the back room. The hallway floors were being worked on while we were there. We enjoyed the area we were in. John’s pass was a few minute walk from the condo. The beach was never crowded it was a quieter area which we liked. Lots of restaurants to choose from.

Great bed, slept very well. Quiet. Very clean and new. Had everything you need at least to start including beach chairs. Great view. Good restaurants within easy walking distance. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely stay there again.

Description was Misleading

The location was great, the second bedroom was very small with no closet and no window. My opinion it should be in description. My brother and sister-in-law were stuck in elevator for over an hour which I thought should have been faster . They were very distraught after that , The management and or host was told about this and they did not reach out to see if they were ok , a little compassion and courtesy would have been nice ! Would not stay there again

Cons and pros 1706

CONS: The beds are AWFUL! Sofa bed is thick as a napkin, guest bed is broken down and the bed squeaks ever time you move. Master needs replaced as well felt like I was going to fall out of it.. it goes downhill. The towels stunk of mold and cigarettes I washed everything our first night. The kitchen could use a GOOD wash down from top to bottom. I used Clorox wipes and cleaned the cabinets and kitchen. The kitchen needs a strainer and new pans. The guest bedroom HAS no closet and very little storage and it has NO tv. The master closet isn’t deep enough so your clothes hit every time you open the doors. All of the drawers and cabinets could use a good vacuuming. The washer and dryer are EXTREMELY loud..!!!!! No beach toys, The carpet on the 7th floor is absolutely DISGUSTING! Needs replaced or professional cleaning and it smelled so bad. The halls aren’t cooled…the unit does need painted.. that’s noting bad. PROS; GRRAT LOCATION! Fantastic staff! They had wash detergent for laundry, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, & cleaning supplies . Provided beach chairs and noodles, They did have staff cleaning the lobby and vacuuming the carpet. Also, they provide baggies and an area for your pet!!!!! That’s awesome!!!! I get very safe all around the property! Love the safety features of the door. Wished the design of all entry doors to the building were different.. they go out ward when you have a full load it’s difficult to get in. Bring toilet paper and paper towels!!! Over all we had a great time ! We just slept on the beach from the bad beds 😂 This unit was more expensive than others.. not sure why????????? Location and view were FANTASTIC !!!
