Be aware that there is no one at the desk after 5 PM, though you can phone for help. Much street and surrounding noise can be heard through the thin windows. There are sheets on the bed, but you have to ask for blankets. Take your own shampoo and conditioner (soap is provided). There is no room coffee, though they will give you a coffee maker if you buy your own coffee somewhere. The A/C is good. American appliances can be plugged in outlets on Barbados.

Meridian Inn was in a top location St. Lawrence Gap Very reasonable in price Close to Dover Beach shich js just a 5 minute walk. Juliette and Michelle employess there are the best. Very friendly and helpful with whatever you need. This is a very unique place. My now husband and me enjoyed our stay so much. We went to Barbodas to get married and like I previously stated Juliette and Michelle were so helpful They guided me to find what needed to be done to accomplish our wedding. We will be going back to Barbodas and definitely will stay at the Meridian Inn.

Small hotel, close to the beach, access through Dover beach hotel, restaurant and convenience store.Not luxurious but clean. Well situated and very helpful staff. Karaoke at a near by bar on Sunday night, but quiet every other night.

This very basic hotel is clean, and in a great location. Two minute walk to the beach, lots of restaurants and shops in easy walking distance.The staff is great and does a nice job cleaning up your room.

My flight was delayed but they were flexible with check-in. My room was ready when I got there because they had tried to make it available as soon as possible since I was supposed to fly in 5 hours earlier. Paulette, Juliette and Michele were great. Nice and quiet stay, except for the Sunday night karaoke from a nearby hotel. I went down there to join them since I was singing along anyway. They have some items like water, juice, stamps for sale in the office and will convert currency. Grab your beach towel from the office in the morning and walk 4 minutes to the beach. Go see Captain Sam and the watersports team over at Turtle Bay (to the left of the beach walkway). Enjoy.
The Meridian Inn is the ideal place for anyone in need of basic digs while leaving holiday-makers money to spend on other enjoyments in Barbados. The staff from office admin to room refreshers adhere to the hospitality motto of "Smile and be the first one to say hello". My room was spacious, clean and the balcony with a view of the neighbouring guesthouse. The kitchenette is fully equipped just add food to cook and drinks for the fridge. Nearby is the St Lawrence Gap strip complete with restaurants, bars, boutiques and the Dover Food Market oasis for groceries and beverages as there's no supermarket close-by. The Meridian doesn't have a swimming pool or restaurant and access to the beach is via a narrow passage next to a nearby hotel. Want more, stay some where and pay more.
I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is centrally located and convenient to all. The staff is friendly but is conscious of your privacy . It is a no frills hotel but it is clean and a great location. I feel safe and enjoy the quiet and calm atmosphere. The roof top terrace is cozy in th with warm evenings..
