The house and location was perfect and convenient to the beach. We love fishing off the private dock. It was so relaxing cuz we didnt have to do alot of running around. The house was clean and th we view was breathtaking. We will definitely rent again.

Beautiful place!

The house is beautiful. Found everything just as advertised. We were there during hurricane Milton and sadly had to evacuate early. . Our host Amanda was fantastic during the craziness of the situation. Even though we had to cut the vacation short we will definitely return to this property!

Family Thanksgiving

This is the second Thanksgiving we have spent here. Our kids and grandkids love being able to play on the beach/in the garage (ping pong), to fish and to watch dolphins/boats go by.

Loved , loved, loved it!

Wish we could have stayed longer. It was amazing. The back deck had an awesome view. It rained all day one day but still sat outside, having a nice drink and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The house was roomy, very clean, and comfortable. No complaints here. Will be back.

GHSA Dead Week

This was our favorite vacation that we have ever taken! We immediately rebooked for the same week next year. The three levels of the home create a lot of privacy for mixed families like we had. The youngest child we took was 8, and the property was perfect for him. There were lots of toys to use and lots of good fishing. Hands down our new favorite vacation spot!

Perfect St. Augustine Home Base

Comfortable and spacious, easy highway access, a perfect location for water activities. we enjoyed the nearby beach access, a perfect spot for swimming and other beach activities. And we loved fishing from the dock, where we caught numerous snapper, pinfish, catfish, and even a grouper, a stingray and a small shark! The house is well-equipped for cooking and the host is a great communicator. Really enjoyed this stay!

Lovely view of the sound at sunset

Loved the location, it's quiet, has a beautiful overlook of the sound at sunset and is very close to beach access. The beach isn't crowded. Nice touches include kayaks, boogie boards, and a ping-pong table that we enjoyed. The house is large for a family and well appointed.

Gorgeous view of Matanzas River!

We stayed at this beautiful home for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. All the rooms (and loft) were very clean and spacious, as well as the bathrooms! The kitchen was beautiful, spacious and very well stocked. The floor to ceiling view of the Matanzas River was breath taking and so peaceful! Amanda, the owner, was very responsive and easy to communicate with! We wished we could have stayed longer and definitely recommend this property!

Great Location

Our family has been vacationing in the St Augustine area for over 30 years. We prefer to stay on the intracoastal and this house was the perfect location. It is close to the beautiful beach and our favorite places to eat. We caught numerous fish and saw several sea turtles from the dock We enjoyed watching the boats pass by and the sunsets were breathtaking. The house was very comfortable with lots of extras. My only suggestion would be the addition of a couple of TV's and cable for the bedrooms for when you are trying to wind down for the day. We had a wonderful time, thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Great family or friends beach home. Convenient access to beach and pier life! We enjoyed it!

The overall process of renting was smooth. The host/hostess were very detailed, friendly and helpful. Quick communication when there were questions. Everything was very clean and it felt like home away from home. The beach house was spacious and the accommodations were perfect! The pier was great for us all to fish and to watch the dolphins, turtles, manatees and sunsets. The kayaks were there for us to use and were fun! They had extra beach gear and household items to us to use in case we forgot something or needed something. Everything was just perfect for our big blended family!

Best VRBO stay ever!

We enjoyed every second of our weekend here. It was perfect for our group of cousins, great sleeping/bathroom arrangements that were comfortable for everyone. Really enjoyed the space and location. Checking in and out was awesome. I appreciated not being bombarded with a list of cleaning chores to do before checking out. Thanks Amanda and Wes! Hopefully we’ll be back!

Thanksgiving at the Beach

This property was a perfect fit for our family - our two grown children, their spouses and our five grandchildren (two to eight). We just had to watch the little one on the circular stairway! The kids caught fish from the dock, and we all enjoyed the spectacular views, gorgeous sunsets and watching all the boats go by. Aside from being at the beach, it's also close to my hometown, Palatka, and my extended family. Amanda and Wes are great hosts!

Great place- exactly what we were hoping for

We are longtime visitors to the area and loved that this house was situated on the inter coastal within such a short distance to the beach access. Our kids caught lots of fish off of the home’s pier, the house itself had everything we could have wanted, the beds were comfortable and it was roomy for our family of 4, so we were able to spread out and relax. The owners were super responsive to any questions I had. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Million dollar view close to remote beaches

My wife and I worked remotely from this house for 13 nights to escape the snowy tundra up north. We were thrilled with the home setup and with the spectacular view from almost every spot in the house. Watched the tidal water with so much wildlife as we sipped our coffee on the deck. The owners were very responsive on the occasions I would reach out. Room for 5 cars to park in a private driveway. Homes within view range from 1-5 million dollars! Spectacular location. Within 5 miles of very secluded beaches and 15 minutes from the tourist areas and beaches. Absolutely well stocked kitchens and baths. We could have stayed for much longer but reality was waiting back home. Amanda, Thanks for the great home away from home.
