Not up to expectations

Overall the hotel did not come up to expectations. I booked what was advertised as a superior double room. It had little to no natural light. Only had hot water shower on the final morning. They would polish the floors outside my room as early as 6:30 am. Little sound proofing so could hear other guests at all hours. Complimentary water looked to be tap water so did not use it. Huge positives were the staff who were all incredibly respectful and eager to assist.

It's perfectly located. A lot of dining options. The only problematical part was that they weren't really helpful to find the pickup place for my bus transfer. But this was mostly my fault

I want to start up by saying that the staff here is really nice and they try to accommodate you but this hotel is absolutely horrible. I saw roaches every day of my three day stay here. There are no electrical wall inserts to charge your phone near the bed. I had to unplug the TV to charge my phone. This was an inconvenience because I had to keep my phone by my bed to hear my alarm so I will go the day with only half percent of my phone. The room that they showed me on Expedia is not the room that they gave me when I arrived there. I would not recommend this hotel

Location, Location, Location. Easy to get to Pub Street. Hotel needs to provide 2 room cards so you can leave air con on while out. Need hooks in bathroom to hang bath towels up. Otherwise not a bad hotel right where you need to be. Breakfast was okay but just too hot to eat in an open aired dining room.

The property was good. The room was fairly comfortable and clean. It was a bit difficult to regulate the cooling in the room. The area around the hotel was very loud at night with the market and party places nearby. It was difficult to sleep at night because of the loud music and traffic. It would eventually get a little quieter around 5 am. I would not stay there again

Beautiful old hotel on the river.

The hotel is beautiful, full of wood and old-style decor. I liked it. The location was great, right at the night market by the river. It was quite noisy at night as we heard loud music from the local bars until 6am, which made sleeping difficult. The staff always greeted us with courtesy every time we entered and departed the hotel. The breakfast buffet was ok. Nothing spectacular bur still ok. There was a variety of foods, but they could have been served a bit warmer.

Ta Phrom , worries gone.

Initial twin room was in need of a total refurb, should never have put us in there. Management quickly moved us to a suite which was tastefully refurbed with rain shower and large bed, spare bed also arranged. Breakfast was lovely in a massive dining hall. All staff were lovely, friendly and super helpful. Made our initial worries dissipate immediately.
