I gave this cabin a 4 star review, but honestly with just a few updates it would be a five. The directions from the management company were a confusing. I tried to go by their directions because the email from them said that GPS wasn’t reliable, but GPS took us straight to the entrance. There are some very steep streets and my minivan was struggling. There are numbered signs on the main road leading to the cabins. Majestic View is Cabin #1. This info was in the address on the welcome email, but I missed it the first time. We arrived after business hours and tried calling the emergency number for help finding the cabin. We were told a message would be passed along to the person on call, but we never heard from them. Cell service is spotty though so that may be why. We found the cabin shortly after that. There is a steep downward slope when you turn into the cul de sac for Majestic View, but once you’re in MV has the most level parking of all the cabins in the cul de sac. We had no problem parking the first night, but once the neighbors showed up on night two they brought four cars and kept parking in front of our cabin. It would be awesome if the management company told people where to park. Getting into the cabin is super easy and we had huge grins on our faces because you see the view immediately. Walking in our first impression was that the cabin was super small, but there is plenty of space! My three teen boys had the downstairs all to themselves. Kind of like their own little cabin. There aren’t really good views on the main floor or bottom floor unless you go out on the balconies, but the views are absolutely amazing on the balconies. The master bedroom on the top floor has a wall of windows with stunning views. The appliances and furniture really need to be updated. This was the only downside to the cabin. The main dining table had a chair with a wobbly leg, the beds weren’t very comfortable and the furniture in the living room is worn. We were so tired when we came back each day that this didn’t impact our visit much. The kitchen is tiny and there is little to no storage or counter space. We moved the chairs from the kitchen table out and used that as a countertop and food storage area. The jacuzzi tub upstairs made a really loud noise when the pressure built up and it was it very annoying until I figured out that I needed to turn the faucet on. Bring pot holders and trash bags!Great location. Easy access to everything. We loved our stay!
