Our hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful. We stayed with family including grandchildren ages 3-12. Check in was smooth and easy. Our older grandchildren loved the game room! The kitchen and cabin are well stocked with cookware and dishes, soap, towels and a washer/dryer. The only thing that I would want others to be aware of when booking is that 2 of the rooms downstairs with beds do not have privacy doors but have curtains instead so not as private as one would expect. I don’t remember seeing anything on the floor plan or description alerting that they didn’t have privacy doors, I could have missed it but it should be noted in the description if not. There is more than adequate parking. We had 2 cars, a van and a motorcycle comfortably parked and room for more. The hot tub was clean and very much enjoyed. Thank you Bill and Abby for a wonderful visit enjoyed by our family!

OUTSTANDING!!! We had an incredible stay. Made incredible unforgettable memories with family here! So close to all attractions. Check in was so easy, communication with Owners was fantastic and they are so nice helpful! The Lodge looks just like the pictures. Home in a great rugged, private, remote area but other homes around so you don't feel isolated. Beautifully decorated. Nice beds. 2 Bedrooms upstairs, 3 sleeping areas downstairs. Worked perfect for our group of 6 adults. Driveway is steep but we loved that we could parked directly in front of the entry door for easy unloading. The roads leading to the lodge are curvy, narrow and steep in some places, but just drive very slow. No wildlife sightings at the Lodge, but that was good for us. We highly recommend and hope to visit again very soon!!

We had a great stay! The house was the perfect size and number of beds for our two families. We had 7 kids under age 10 and they really enjoyed the game room! The kitchen was well stocked and even had spices, coffee creamer and sugar, flour, etc. The dining table was a nice size for our crew. The only suggestion i have is to replace the trash can in the kitchen with one that has a step on lever to open. We had a great time in the Smokies staying at Bill and Abby's place :-)

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time and the cabin was great! There were a few issues that I left for the housekeeping staff and hopefully they passed this on to the Hillman's. One was a leak in the basement game room. Couldn't determine where the water was coming from. The other issue was the shower rod in the basement fell.Otherwise, the property and owner's assistance was wonderful!

Hobbs Family Getaway

It was great , my husband & his friend love the privacy even though we were surrounded by other couples in their cabins we still feel like we had plenty of privacy, the teenagers luv the game room in the basement. The adult women like myself we just enjoyed the parkway & all it had to , lan on returning in Dec 2025
