The room was very spacious with a loveseat and coffee table in addition to the bed with nightstands. Plenty of space to spread out. The lobby has several lovely sitting areas, one outside with beautiful rhododendrons and a nice comfortable are inside. The breakfast for purchase in the dining area was truly great with yummy breakfast options. This is an old property that has been mostly updated but there are some small issues with the room. The hot/cold water would not regulate it was one or the other. Had to adjust constantly when showering. The toilet had no pressure and had to usually be flushed twice.But even with this I would stay there again.

My wife had an early morning procedure at Virginia Mason, so this was a great place to stay the night prior. I dropped of my wife and bags at the hotel, then parked at the Virginia Mason parking lot and walked up the hill. The following morning we put our bags in the car and went into the hospital. Very convenient!

I like the lobby and the 4 post bed, this place could be a really nice luxurious hotel if they invested in it but is run down. Service was ok, Other thank that you get everything you need , it also has a roof top and was nice.

Hotel rooms were very clean, it has a nice patio and a little restaurant. Parking is very close, can park in front to unload, check in and go yo your room before moving car to parking lot. One block over are restaurants and a bakery. I would definitely recommend leaving your car in parking lot and using UBER if you want to go to Pike’s Market as parking is a problem and very small parking lots that are usually filled.

The price was what drew us to this hotel. We were in an inside room and it was very noisy. Not as clean asi expect it to be.

Better than expected

Better than I expected. Rooms are older and the view to the hospital windows isn’t quite scenic, but it more than made up for with easy check in and fantastic service from hotel and restaurant staff. Good location, not far from train/bus access and still walking distance to most things downtown

Warmer than expected

They were very up front about no AC. I still booked since Seattle is typically cool in June. It was 85F and nearly 80 in my rokm most nights of my stay. The fan provided was helpful, but would have been even better if the windows were not blocked after a few inches. Also one window did not have a screen.
