Loved staying here. So roomy. Fast WiFi. Big bedroom and very comfortable bed. Kitchen gas every thing you needed. I used the washer and dryer which was great. Walking distance was perfect to every place you would want to go. 5 minutes to river with all the stores and restaurants. 3 minutes to Broughton again with stores and restaurants. Walked to the Olde Pink House Restaurant. Great restaurant almost across the street called 17 Hundred 90 which was delicious. Highly recommend. Parking spot right behind apartment. It was absolutely lovely and you can’t go wrong renting. I highly recommend if you want a nice, clean, roomy, walking distance place to stay in historic Savannah.

This apartment was perfect! Clean and comfortable! Located at an historic square and just a few blocks walk to the Riverwalk and all the activity and excitement of Broughton Street. Parking was absolutely convenient… We didn’t move or worry about our car the entire time.The Lucky Team was fabulous and we will definitely be in touch when we return to Savannah! Thank you!

The location of this rental was superb. Everything was within a reasonable walk and we didn’t have to use our car at all to see the historic district. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. The bed was clean and comfortable. The living room didn’t have a rug, as was shown in the photo, which made it seem cold. The furniture was just ok, not super comfortable, and there was a musty smell. The bedroom of the apartment was dark and the shower needs a refresh. Overall it was fine because we weren’t there most of the day. It was a good value for the location, but not exactly as portrayed in the photos.

PERFECT!! This historic apartment was walking distance to everything but still far away enough for it to be quiet at night. The kitchen was very well equipped with all modern appliances, we made our breakfast every morning and then headed out exploring for the day. Very easy access to this apartment and the free parking space was a great bonus. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of fresh linens. Directly across the street is a beautiful square and every corner surrounding this property were gorgeous historical homes including the Davenport house, which I was able to take a home tour. Can't say enough positive things about this apartment and it's location.

We were very frustrated when we checked in because there weren’t enough towels for two people, for four days. We got one hand towel. It was after hours when we discovered we weren’t going to have enough soap, so we bought our own. The place seemed clean, so we just shook off the frustrations—after all, it was safe, nicely located, and had parking. Two days into our stay, I noticed bug bites on my legs, which prompted me to check in the sheets. I found actual poop stains on the sheets and a crushed up worm! I don’t think the bug bites were bed bugs, but I wanted just wanted to check. I was so disgusted that I stripped the bed and washed the bedding. A huge stain on the comforter had been hidden with a decorative sheet. It didn’t come clean, but at least I knew it was clean after I washed it. I should have snapped a picture, but I was so grossed out that it didn’t even occur to me at the time. The place is NOT as pretty as the pictures by any stretch. One of the shower rings was broken, making it hard to keep the curtain closed. The vent in the bathroom was filthy and broken (being held together with a rubber band). The wine opener was broken, and the dishwasher wouldn’t open all the way (it hits the stove). I would have overlooked all of the small issues if there hadn’t been poop stains on the sheets and bugs in the bed. That means housekeeping remade the bed with dirty sheets! This was my first experience with VRBO, and I’m not impressed.

The space was in a great location - so close to everything we wanted to visit. It was cozy and we loved being able to stop in for a mid-afternoon break from the heat. It was so clean, I loved the decor and the openness of the space.

Nice place

Super clise to everything, we walked all over town and didn't need a car. It was just two of us so it worked fine. Our only complaints were low ceilings and the couch wasn't comfortable. We would definitely go again.

We were unable to stay in the unit we reserved.. we received a phone call about 2 hours before we arrived stating the unit had flooded due to storms. We were told they only had one other unit available to offer us. We took since we were almost there. The unit was nice but further away from our focal destination.. it also didn’t have parking which was important to us due to my having knee replacement surgery recently.. we had to on street park wherever we could find one and pay. We asked for compensation but we were refused. The unit was a beautiful older home basement apartment but apparently had wood floors above us that people were walking around a lot late at night..it was graduation week for SCAD so I know our options were limited. I know weather issues are unavoidable and graduation created its own issues but it was disappointing.

Great Location

Mom/Daughter weekend

This place for perfect for everything. I was able to show my daughter the best of Savannah. Very quiet location, trolley stop was just across the street. Would recommend this location and best part was having parking right behind house.

Horrible night

We checked in our rental after traveling from Va. the owner upstairs was having a party which ended up going on until 1am! It’s a very old house with very little insulation so we heard every step and conversation and hollering. It was a long night. Didn’t end up staying the second night we just got a hotel room. Not what we were hoping for after a long day.

Great location

Perfect location for the women’s marathon this weekend. It was hard to figure out how to get in- a photo of the door or something would be helpful. Ceilings were lower than expected but fine for a short stay.

The property was nice. The only issues were check in. There was no directions to hit the arrow button after entering the code. Also the people that were above us had a dog and the barking was loud and annoying.

Nice Location; Cute Place; They Should have Cancelled Thpugh

We liked the historic home and the accommodations. The bed was amazing. However, instead of cancelling and finding us a new location, Lucky Savannah decided to inform us two days before our arrival that the roof was going to be replaced and that we shouldn’t be disturbed because it’s a three floor home and so far up there. That’s not how it worked. Pound pound pound. Fine. It’s during the day and we were mostly out. But upon our return, the entrance to our rental is blocked off and not accessible as debris if flying off the roof above. Upon calling Lucky Savannah, they actually informed me that my reservation was no. Refundable due to construction. But no—I read the co tract—it says “construction nearby” not on the roof over your head that you are unable to get to anyway. Geez. Had to reroute to a supervisor and wait for someone to call back. What a pain. Why did they even Confirm those dates in the first place? You’re getting a new roof replaced! Totally put a damper on trip from Michigan to Savannah. Just because they couldn’t close this rental down for two days. In the end, they did let me check out a day early. Yippie Skippie. No refund offered. Nails falling on the sidewalk outside our door and no access to our paid for rental. Not a good look, Lucky Savannah

Spring Getaway

We had a beautiful weekend at State Street Secret. The location and accommodations were just perfect. My favorite part was being right at Columbia Square and spending some wonderful moments just enjoying the beauty around us, both natural beauty and the incredible Savannah architecture. Also loved how walkable everything was. Great vacation and accommodations!

Charming cottage

Charming cottage loved the historic fireplaces and wonderful historic neighborhood where we could hear the horse and carriages going down the street. Great location and cottage has everything you need. We had a great time and loved Savannah!

Perfect location for exploring Savannah!

This was a perfect location to stay in Savannah. We used the hop on hop off trolley for sight seeing, and stop number 13 is directly across the road. This made it so easy to go back and forth to the apartment. When we weren’t using the trolley, everything was still very walkable! Everything was clean and just as it was pictured. In general, a quiet neighborhood. Note: Very low ceilings! My husband is 6’4” and he could walk with just a little room above his head, but he had to duck to go through the doorways. :)
