Great location to the river and shops. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Nice comfortable motel. Friendly staff. Close to many restaurants and things to do. Construction next door was a temporary distraction.

I'm not picky about where I stay at all, but this hotel was absolutely horrible. If you absolutely have stay here, bring ear plugs because you will hear everything at night..laughing, walking, motorcycles, cars, the street sweeper at 3am..etc. Not to mentioned the LOUD construction going on right next door starting at 5am. They provide a sound machine for you in the room..what does that tell you? Also, my room smelled like musk/mold so bad that I felt sick every night. And if you have long hair...be prepared to take an hour shower to rinse you hair out with the weakest water pressure you will ever experience. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else near this hotel. Location is the only thing that was great.

It is ridiculous for a motel (Motor Hotel) to charge an extra fee to park in the motel parking lot.

It is in a good location in downtown Savannah, but our room faced a construction site that got noisy at 7:00 am. Also, the Orbitz listing said parking was included but we were charged $20 to park our car.

Very clean, staff was excellent. Hotel has good location, were able to park our car and walk everywhere. Traffic was a little loud but they provide ear plugs if you need them.

Staff was amazing! Incredibly nice and accommodating. Older hotel but all redone on the inside. Exterior is tired.

Very welcoming and friendly at check in and during all our time there. Attractive and pleasant environment, very comfortable.

Nice older hotel. Construction is going on behind the hotel and it's very noisy. Also the road frontage is noisy due to a main road. Hotel staff was great, rooms were decent. Close walk to everything in the historic district of Savannah.

The location was very good in terms of its proximity to the historic district and River Street. Everything was within walking distance. The location is fairly noisy due to the busy Bay Street traffic. Earplugs and white noise are provided, so that helped. The room was clean and spacious but not exactly fresh smelling. Check-in staff were very friendly. Overall, it was an good place to stay given the price compared to others around the area.

I would recommend this Best Western to anyone looking for a reasonably-priced hotel in Savannah. Free breakfast was more than adequate, noise from adjoining rooms was almost nonexistent and housekeeping services were excellent. I was particularly impressed by the lobby concierge service, which is available from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Staff there answered several questions which saved me time while I was in the city.

Everyone was very helpful here. The woman who was running the front desk explained that she couldn't let me check in, but could let me have my parking permit. She was good about detailing where to go for parking as well. The concierge woman was awesome as well. Funny to boot! My only issue was that I paid $196 for the initial reservation, but they advertised it for $159 2 weeks afterwards. I know it isn't their fault, but it would have been nice to gotten the better rate. I'll still be back regardless. The location was too perfect not to.

Delightful bed and pillows. Right at River Street. Breakfast was ok...missed the southern biscuits and gravy.

This hotel is a good value - the location was great. I found the amenities and cleanliness to be good. I did not appreciate the staff or leaving guests who rolled their carts or luggage past our room while calling out instructions at 6:30 AM to be the best. If it was staff, they need to use another route. I was surprised by the additional $15 parking charge - not mentioned in the rental information. I've rented many hotel rooms that were similar in amenities and cleanliness (and breakfast fare) that cost only 2/3 the price without the parking fee. I do understand that Savannah is a choice destination though.

Room smelled bad due to mildew in the ac. Great location though.

The place doesn't look too impressive from the outside, but inside the room was beautiful. The woodworking appeared to have been newly renovated and was was surprisingly unexpected. The location was within walking distance to anything historic as well as to the waterfront. Reasonably priced. I would stay there again.

i was in town to visit a college with my daughter. We wanted to get a feel for the town in addition to campus life. The Best Western in the Historic District was recommended by my aunt who visited with the Mississippi. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The concierge on the last day was delightful. My criticisms were few. The weather was kind of cool at night, but the heating units gave off a horrible odor, so we had to maintain the air conditioning, However, there weren't extra blankets in the room. The coffee offered with breakfast was extremely weak, and the sausages were consistently dry. The waffles were amazing! All that said, I would absolutely return. The location was key.

The hotel was convenient and the staff was nice. Would stay there again.

Great location, good price, better than average breakfast (included) but otherwise average. Know what you are buying and why. The location and price compared to many other hotels make this a real bargain. You can walk to all of the sights in the historic district as well as all the great restaurants..

We had a nice stay. Close to the River walk and the trolley stop.
