Excellent service and communication from George and staff. The process was super easy with driver pick up, staff who helped with luggage, breakfast delivered to the room, and the view was amazing. So worth it for our first time in Greece.

The hotel is at the very heart of Fira, Santorini with Caldera view. It is by far my family's most favorite accomodation considering you can view the caldera view sunset at your own place. The jacuzzi is a plus and very relaxing. The location is awesome, hotel amenities are amazing with the breakfast served at your own time choice and above all, George, our host went above and beyond his duties to make sure guests are taken care of.

The Golden Grey Goose Hotel is the best hotel we've stayed at in Santorini. We stayed in the Grey suite which was spacious, private, and had the best views of all of Santorini including the caldera, Oia, Staros Rock, and much more. The sunsets were clear from our private balcony and incredible. The location was conveniently close to the main square of Fira with access to all kinds of shops, restaurants and the transportation hub for the rest of the island. We had a private hot tub on our balcony. We were also treated to an included breakfast each morning with all types of croissants, pastries, omelets and more. George, who manages the hotel, was an extremely hospitable host. He was able to set up great excursions and activities for us. This was truly a magical place and well worth it. Did not disappoint and exceeded all our expectations.

Wow! The view of the caldera was spectacular. Being on the "down" side of the main street gives you quiet. The quality in the apartment was fantastic. Spacious bedrooms with comfy beds. Large bathrooms with great amenities and lots of hot water. A well-appointed kitchen. And over the top service and communication. Thanks fir a great stay! We will return!

The hot tub for sunset views and location great however staff cleaning my balcony and hot tub when still trying to enjoy property in morning including washing balcony above resulting in me and my breakfast getting wet and no apology just laughed. Overpriced for average accomodation, dissapointed!

Pros * Beautiful View from room and private balcony Cons * overpriced for an average, old, worn down apartment. * bathroom had a brolen shower, very small and with no fan. * bed was uncomfortable * They claimed wifi worked, most of the times we had no wifi connection. * No option of ordering breakfast or going to the bar. Look elsewhere for a better apartment with more facilities and for less cost!

Amazing views

Golden Grey goose hotel is amazing. The view is to die for. If you don’t mind walking up quit a bit of steps I would recommend the lower unit as it is more secluded and very private. The lower room has 2 levels and 2 balcony’s it is quit large. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel, Amazing View

This hotel is in a wonderful location, and has some amazing views. The sunsets are breathtaking, we just sat on our terrace with a glass of wine and watch them. Also Olga, the hotel manager is great, very friendly and helpful. If at all possible I will definitely stay here again. It was great!

Mid level amenities - but good value for Santorini

You go to Santorini for the views. They've got that covered. You can watch sunset from your terrace while enjoying a glass of wine. There are also hundreds of steps on the caldera (it is after all literally a cliff) and the staff carried our luggage on arrival and departure up/down all of them. Olga greeted us and was a delight. She also gave us a local phone so we could contact her for free. It also came in handy for calling taxis when we needed to. The room itself was large - 2 bedrooms large , but only had 1 bed in it for some reason. The rooms are a little bare. You have what you need but nothing extra. For example there's a living room with two chairs instead of a sofa like you might expect. There's wifi - but it only works on 1 level likely because of the cave-like construction of buildings there. There's tv - but no english ...oddly Russian channels were though. So all that to say - it wasn't bad. It wasn't great either. I'm a traveler that spends very little time in the room, so having the basics was fine for us. If you want to lounge in the room for hours a day - I'd suggest going elsewhere and being prepared to spend about twice as much for creature comforts.

From the time we landed until the time we departed, it was a first class stay. Olga and her husband did a fantastic job accommodating us and getting our luggage ready. We arrived early and they had the room ready as soon as the others departed. The room is huge and the view breathtaking! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great spacious place with a fantastic view! Thank you to Olga and staff for a feat stay!
