We booked through Expedia and unfortunately the photos used to promote this hotel are not the reality - we paid premium because we thought we were beachfront but the photos are actually a sister hotel that you need to bus to to access the beach club (the beach club was amazing - fab view and pool and bar, but a big difference between being allowed to visit and actually staying somewhere). The staff were all lovely, and the room was actually nicer than the photos- but I also have to say our room was on a very busy road and extremely noisy. On top of this there was a dispute that they wanted a very large additional daily fee for our children (who didn’t even have their own beds,but a sofa bed.) we had booked for two adults and two children and I am 100% sure I put in the correct ages of our children in the booking but they claim they came though as two one year olds…after an awkward interaction they agreed to charge us a discount but it was still a lot to stomach having to pay more on what we felt was an overpriced and disappointing experience. We were overall disappointed to have splashed out on our most expensive hotel on our Mexico family holiday and leave feeling pretty gutted.

The staff were very friendly and good Spanish teachers. The evening performances were high quality and very enjoyable. The dancers brought great energy and creativity to the stage! The atmosphere is intimate with a number of great spaces to relax and enjoy the amazing weather.

Small hotel with beatiful tropical garden. Rooms and all amenities are clean, staff is curteous. Very limited food choices. The beach is public beach with hundreds of people. The beach club is only some area with sun umbrellas and lounges for hotel residents right on the public beach! If you only need pool, not the ocean, this is not a bad place.

Our room was always spotless. The staff are great but the only issue we had was on last day. We’ve been travelling for many years and stayed at a lot of different all inclusive places and the day of checking out we were always able to continue to order drinks and food until we left the hotel, not here. We arrived late on our first day so that day we didn’t have food and drinks at the hotel and was deprived of the services after checking out even though we weren’t leaving the hotel until 4:00 pm. The cost for a hot dog and fries was $15 US.

Overall the hotel is good if you can book at a discounted price Cons: You have to either take a shuttle or walk to the beach (5-7 min walk) through town. The beach club is okay, not that many lounge chairs though and the sand was covered in ants every day. The beach is also public so there are lots of people around making it hard to relax. The food and drinks were average. The meat was always way over cooked and there was not much variety. The drinks were pretty watered down. Pros: The best part of our hotel stay was the very friendly staff and the hotel grounds was clean and easy to get around. It’s not far from town and the cab ride to and from is not expensive at all. We ended up eating out at restaurants a few times due to the not so great food offered at the resort. We booked this hotel when they were offering a deal, I would not pay full price.

Great option for families with kids and those on a budget. Nothing fancy, food is ok, but the servers / staff are very good, it is a fantastic location, there is an excellent beach club on a beautiful sandy beach at the sister hotel called Niru. Nightly entertainment with talented dancers. I loved what we got for the price!

Check in was fast then was shown to our room (nobody told us the hotel was under construction if we 'ed have know would never have booked) room was ok but not 4 star standard we then preceded to dinner (Buffet) which was cafeteria style then to cover themselves said it was a safety concern we were also served cafeteria style like school dinners / I could continue but that would not be fair to the staff which were very good and the beach club made up for the hotel i will never stay here again

Stayed for six days. Food is too repetitive and flavorless, buffet juices are water down way too much. Everything is very basic every day. They don’t offer different food themes. Will never go back to this place. Staff is friendly and provide good service however the bad food makes it a bad experience. Location is good close to town. Note that the hotel is not beach front you need to take a shuttle to the beach (short 5 minute drive).

Our stay at Binniguenda was pleasant overall, though check-in policies are very strict. Because of an early flight, we arrived before check in time, which we were aware of. We weren’t allowed to use amenities until after noon or access our room until 3pm, the initial contact receptionist was very rude about it. Another receptionist, more willing to help, offered an early check-in for 1,200 pesos. The hotel is older but clean, with comfortable beds and good AC. Alcoholic drinks were definitely watered down, but the food at Palapa Chahué was delicious, cleanly prepared, and offered good variety. Service there was excellent, especially from Noemi and Armando. At the bar, Axcel, Lorenso, and Angelico also provided friendly, attentive service. The beach club Niru was also very pleasant. The pool area is great and there are plenty of beach chairs, easily accessible, and the food at Xhadani was good.
