We took the Pacific Surfliner into Santa Barbara to catch the Coast Starlight #14 the next day. This hotel is right across the tracks from Santa Barbara Amtrak Station so it was very convenient. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly!

Hotel staff is wonderful. Location is amazing and walkable to everything. Beware of privacy if you are not traveling with SO, the bathrooms have a clear glass door that does not “close” all the way so your party can see you in the bathroom.

The hotel is cute overall and the staff was nice. The location is close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Please be aware that the train runs right next to it, so you hear it until 10pm and starting at 6:50am each morning. The standard king room was small. The shower was small with a “European” shower, meaning, so no overhead shower head, it’s handheld, and the water goes all over the floor.
