Extended Stay Santa Barbara was more affirdable than most other hotels on rhe area. It's in a quieter area across the street from an In & Out Burger and gas station. Easy access to the highway. You won't really get what you pay for. At $240, there were no toiletries. You must ask for specific dishes and dish soap.An alarm went off on the middle of the night which led to a cascade of unfortunate health events for me (a young healthy person). No manager was available in the morning to discuss the incident with. Shower was not cleaned in advance, and despite "recent renovations" the place still felt old, bare bones, and uncomfortable to stay in. Value is closer to Motel. I wouldn't pay more than $140 to stay here. Won't stay again.

Calling breakfast "included" is borderline fraud. It's a grab-and-go setup on a small table with literally three items and coffee.

Property condition and staff was great but there was a lot of external noise in our room which did not make for a good night of sleep. Breakfast is very limited. No shampoo perhaps it’s available on request but don’t know.

When I got to the hotel there were police cars surrounding an RV outside. The hotel was messy because it's under construction for reservations and the "Included Breakfast" was the most minimalistic thing I have ever seen. But the room was nice, and the location was really convenient for me, the staff were nice.

Had to pay extra for a couple hour early check-in, room was spacious, however, refrigerator motor, super loud and wood tick while it was on, keeping us awake at night. Heater vent turning on and off all night very loud, musty smell to the room, rust bleeding through paint in bathroom,, bathroom light very dim, not bright, showerhead so strong, it would sting your skin when it hit your face
