10/10 Excellent

I rented this Vrbo to give my family a comfortable, spacious place to stay during our spring break trip to Disneyland, and it was a fantastic choice. The location is excellent—less than a 10‑minute drive to the parks—which made early mornings incredibly easy. The home was clean, well‑maintained, and very comfortable. The beds were great, the 2.5 bathrooms were a huge convenience, and the fully equipped kitchen made meals simple. It was the perfect spot to relax and get ready for long days at Disneyland. The gated parking structure is a nice feature, but it’s a tight fit for large SUVs. I rented a Grand Wagoneer (similar to a Yukon, Tahoe, or Suburban), and parking was difficult if the neighboring spot was occupied. If you’re driving a large SUV, consider renting a mid‑size vehicle or using the secure 24/7 garage at 3rd & Birch. It’s about half a mile away, 15 per day, and an easy walk. The neighborhood has a classic downtown LA vibe with a mix of business and trendy spots. There are plenty of local coffee shops and a nearby Starbucks. I highly recommend Pan Y Café Panadería for great Mexican pastries and coffee. Despite some reviews mentioning concerns, I didn’t experience any issues with homelessness. The nearby college adds some nightlife, and you’ll often see Marines training in the mornings due to a recruitment center close by. I felt safe throughout my stay.Overall, this Vrbo was a great home base for our Disneyland trip, and I’d happily stay again.
