Quaint. Felt like we were staying at home. We loved the double fire places and claw tub in the bathroom. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the happy hour and entertainment. Its conveniently located next to the little downtown area with lots of restaurants and shopping.

We had a great time staying at the Rigdon House. Our room was very spacious and lovely! We enjoyed the happy hour each evening! Also, we loved being able to walk to everything in town. Definitely would recommend the Rigdon House!

Family room was dirty and moldy. Windows in the nook were dirty and black round the edges. In that same bedroom the floor plate on the sliding closet door was dirty and black. Carpet has stains and looked to be old. Stayed here a long time ago, not the same. Poor young lady at the desk was stretched thin doing everything. Happy hour and morning promises were lacking. Very disappointing.

Not what it portrays

The desk clerk was very rude and not helpful. He freaking put his hand in my face and said, ‘ Do you want the room or not?’ I told him he needed to get out of my space. We had driven for about 5 hours and there wasn’t another room in town. We had 4 disabled seniors with us and we requested a ground floor room when making the reservation. He had one available but was holding it for someone who hadn’t arrived. He put us on the second floor which entailed walking up a steep flight of stairs. I don’t know how we managed but we had to. Not a pleasant experience.

Enjoyed our stay there. Quiet place and enjoyed the 2 drink happy hour where we talked with other guests. Our room was spacious and located in town close to variety of places. Enjoyed the free candy and snacks.
