Within about 10-15 minute walk of the main town centre Jardin area. Restaurants and great dining as little as 1/2 block away. San Miguel has great art, shopping, dining and live music at night. The room was good, but the supplies are a little limited. Access to coffee, water, etc. was not always easy as staff are not always onsite. Not all staff speak English, so bring your phrase book or cell phone interpreter with you. All staff friendly. Ubering around is also easy. The rooftop sofa shown in the photo is not there--just the box. Other than 2 seats in the small lobby, there is nothing else but your room by way of amenities.

Our stay at Casa Yuca Hotel Boutique was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel’s charm, cleanliness, and attention to detail. The property is beautifully designed — every space feels warm, stylish, and full of character. The location is perfect — close enough to the main attractions of San Miguel de Allende, yet tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and relaxation. It was the ideal place to come back to after exploring the city. Our room was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and everything felt brand new and well maintained. The staff was kind, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome. You can tell they take pride in offering excellent service and creating an exceptional guest experience. Casa Yuca Hotel Boutique is definitely a place we’ll return to — it made our visit to San Miguel de Allende truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Comfy but needs improvements

The hotel was super cute but very small. The best part about this hotel was the location; very walkable and nearby the historical town center. Worst part was the low water pressure and faulty shower head. You have to shower practically against 1 side of the wall. The shower was poorly designed and water would spray everywhere in the bathroom. The sink faucet needs to be glued to the countertop as it was hanging by a thread. The staff were super friendly but they would lock up the unattended hotel from time to time during the day. Supposedly, only guests with a front door key would have access to the hotel. However this made us felt uneasy about the safety of our belongings if there was no one watching the front door and someone could break into the unsupervised hotel. I would love for the hotel to improve on this matter and have someone at the front desk at all times. Thank you.

The location was great! Gorgeous views and a short walk to Plaza, churches, restaurants, etc. The room was good, although the AC wasn't as powerful as I needed - if turned it off when leaving the room (which they ask you to do), it took forever to cool the room down again (and I had to skip trying to cool down the bathroom altogether and just keep the bathroom door closed, which meant it was almost always hot in there.) The bathroom was a bit stinky (sewer smell coming up through the shower drain), but I know that's a common issue and not specific to this hotel. I booked this assuming they would have a mini fridge and/or microwave in the room, but they didn't - they also didn't have any drinking water! They normally expect you to get your drinking water from the lobby (but there's no water jug or anything to use). There is a Keurig coffee maker in the lobby but you have to buy the coffee from the receptionist. They do have a small mini fridge in the lobby but no microwave, meaning you have to eat out for every single meal, which makes this place really expensive for more than a day or two. When I asked them about it, they wouldn't let me cancel/give me a refund for ANY part of my 9 day stay, so I couldn't afford to switch hotels. However, they did bring the hotel's one fridge up to my room, as well as a huge water jug, and a bag of ice, which I appreciated.

En las fotos tienen una terraza, y subimos y no habia absolutamente nada, solo residuos como del material de lo que algun dia fueron los sillones probablemente y la mesa de centro. Ademas que no creo que les cueste mucho dejar botellitas de agua en lugar de un garrafon en recepcion para tomar el agua. Otro punto importante es que por el precio ya deberia de estar incluido el estacionamiento. De ahi en mas la habitacion limpia, pequena pero bonita. Lo unico que me molesto es que venden una imagen que no tienen, literal elegi ese lugar por su terracita y no tenian terraza, eso es una falta grave.
