Poor front desk service. Not friendly or welcoming. I was with my two young daughters struggling to find parking. I dealt with tow receptionists one during check in and one the next day. Both weren’t friendly. They almost seemed annoyed when I asked for information. The pool had too much chlorine and burned both of my daughter’s eyes pretty bad. The experience was so bad I checked out a day early

This is our 2nd San Diego trip, last time we stayed at a resort 3x the price. Homewood Suites BY FAR beats our last experience here. The suite is suitable and comfortable for a small family. Very clean - staff is friendly. The breakfast is very diverse and has a wide range of options!! Overall 10/10, can’t wait to come again :)

Awful customer service, there was an issue with the room that the staff said we would be compensated for, even with giving us Hilton points for the future, which never happened. They lied to us to get us to go away, and ruined our vacation as a result. There are many hotel options in San Diego, do not patronize this one.

Shortly after we arrived, there was a faulty smoke alarm issue in the room next door, resulting in the entire hallway being flooded and the water being turned off. We were told that we needed to find new rooms and spent the first several hours of our vacation frantically looking for new accommodations, before eventually being allowed to stay in our original rooms, but there was a carpet drying machine whirring in the hallway noisily for the remainder of our stay.
