Great location near Mirabell Gardens. Within 11-15 min walking of everything we would want to do in Salzburg. Hotel is a bit older - rooms are narrow and carpeted. Would have preferred additional pillows as the ones they have are very thing. Water pressure is excellent and shower gets very hot. Appreciated the complimentary water in the room. The AC unit was also very effective, it would be so nice in summer! Front desk staff very friendly and always available. Definitely recommend.

This property is a historic hotel and, as such, has some of the downsides to staying in an old building. Our room was a little musty, but it was very clean. There were nice amenities like electric shutters to keep out the light and noise, and the AC worked very well. The bed was comfortable. This hotel is on the other side of the river from the old city, that was very convenient and close to walk. We also chose it because we had a car and there’s very close by parking. The hotel gives a substantial discount for this garage. I would stay here again. It is not luxurious, but it was more than adequate for our needs. .

Really good old style hotel. We enjoyed the look and location of the hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. It was close to everything. Our only complaints were that breakfast was very expensive and that you may as well walk a few minutes and get it elsewhere. Additionally, the walls were extremely thin.
