Wonderful hotel located in the perfect spot! Rooms were clean and spacious. I had read some mixed reviews but so glad I went with my instincts and booked it because it did not disappoint!

Room - should have taken pic before settling in but you get the idea.
Beautiful bathroom and ours had a jacuzzi tub ad well which was quite the treat!

A bit odd but mostly comfortable.

Air conditioning worked. Paint in the room chipped in many places. No hot water in the morning for a shower. Cars cannot come to the door so you need to be able to walk to taxi stand. Quite noisy in the evening at the Spanish steps. Decor is quite odd and very dated. Hard to find because it is an upper floor in what looks like an office building so you have to look for a little plaque on the side of the door — it doesn’t look like a hotel. They will recommend the restaurant across the street which is not very good.

This hotel was a splurge for us and we booked it for the location and hopes to experience a true Italian vibe for our 30th anniversary. While the hotel location was excellent (we overlooked the Spanish steps), the staff was not friendly, we were not allowed to bring any outside wine to celebrate our 30th anniversary on the terrace in our room, and the wifi was terrible. The shower leaked all over the floor as the glass doors didn’t seal properly. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

We would normally rate 5*, as this is our second time at this hotel. We love it there. This time unfortunately was not as perfect…we had a terrible send off. We checked out early morning and went down to wait for our car pickup to the airport, which was scheduled for 7:30. Once we went downstairs, we realized we could use the breakfast coupons we had initially refused ( we were told breakfast opened at 7:30), because the restaurant was indeed open as of 7:00. We rang and rang and rang the bell for 20 minutes to be allowed upstairs, and there was no answer. We then called and there was still no answer…and there was no driver to pick us up either ! We then started to panic a bit, so we walked to the close by taxi stand and luckily there were a few taxis ready to go. We left , and while driving to the airport, received a call from the initial driver telling us he had arrived to pick us up. He told us that he was ordered to come for 7:45, and not 7:30. We explained what we had done, for fear of being forgotten . We then received a call from the hotel, wondering why they had missed a call from us. They claimed to have never heard the bell ring, nor the phone all. Very very very disappointing send off…. Especially from à hotel that cost us 1500$ CDN for 2 nights.

I was booked a Junior Suite per picture at booking, I paid for a Junior Suite and at arrival. Wasn’t given a Junior suite I was given a regular suite very small & ugly not a Junior suite. When my family called to have them switch me to the room that was paid for person in reception hang up phone 6 times. Terrible customer service. They never offered me the switch to the room we paid for, never was offered a refund either

We were never shown the second access to hotel on top os Spainish steps, the air conditioner was not easy to use. It was VERY loud throuhgout the day because of construction. Breakfast times very limited. We never got anything eother morning and then we were told we needed to pay 5 Euro for two bottles of water when we left!!!

Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful. 24 hour concierge service to let you in the building, which is safe and secure in the heart of Rome.❤️ Looking forward to coming back in the next three weeks, highly recommend this hotel if you have older parents or anyone that needs easy access very very convenient, clean , big rooms, super clean and great AC !

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, situated in a central area that can sometimes be quite busy. Because of this, the main entrance of the hotel can be difficult to find. I recommend calling the front desk for assistance with your luggage.

The hotel is only 8 rooms, if you stay here you will not be disappointed. The door leads on to the middle of The Spanish Steps. We did not have a balcony, but it was not a problem. There is an out door patio where we had coffee in our ribs each morning. Spectacular!
