This house was accurately represented in the photos and felt cozy and comfortable throughout our stay. We would definitely consider returning.This was possibly the best-stocked VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and more. We’re used to bringing extra basics like toilet paper and garbage bags because many rentals are minimally supplied, but none of that was necessary here. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into anticipating guests’ needs, with extras like zip-top bags, basic spices, an Instant Pot, and plenty of laundry supplies. The bathrooms were similarly well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.For guests with dogs, this home is very accommodating. There were dog beds, food and water bowls, toys, and even spare leashes. The house was clean overall. (There was a faint dog smell on the couch, which is probably to be expected in a pet-friendly rental and wasn’t a major issue for us.)The mattresses were quite comfortable. One note for guests with sensitivities: the linens were washed in a strongly scented detergent. It likely won't be an issue for most people, but I thought it was worth a mention.The location was very convenient—about a three-block walk to Rockaway’s main street with restaurants and shopping, and one block farther to the beach. Check-in was straightforward, and the checkout requests were reasonable. Overall, a comfortable, well-equipped home in a great location. We would definitely recommend it.
