Great central location with a nice view from the balcony, clean room and good communication. No blinds on living room windows and balcony doors which also doubles as an extra sleeping space for two people, so sleeping was challanging during the summer nights. Also, keep in mind that there is no elevator (which seems to be normal for Iceland), so we had to bring our suitcases all the way to tge 4th floor using the narrow staircase. Laundry in the basemen had a washe and dryer and was very consistent.

Such a gem located in the heart of the city. The kids especially enjoyed the Valdi’s ice cream next door every night! We enjoyed the coffee and pastries just up the block. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The view was spectacular. Absolutely perfect, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great updated apartment in center of city

We stayed for a week in November. We loved the location, the character of the apartment (402), and the view from the balcony and the windows! You do have to carry luggage up to the 4th floor (no elevator), but that helps work off the extra calories from the fish and chips and the next door ice cream parlor. There is a CameraPark garage (below the MicroBar) is just a few blocks down the same road and it is the cheapest place (other than finding free lots) to leave your car. People down on Laugavegur can be a bit loud Friday and Saturday nights, but it wasn't enough to affect anyone's sleeping. We would definitely stay here if we found ourselves in Reykjavik again.

Great location.Sone issues getting in to the apartment (they gave us the wrong code!). Only 3 cups and 4 items of cutlery and plates for an apartment that supposedly sleeps 5 or 6. Someone turned up with extra mugs when we asked but they were dirty! However, the apartment is comfortable and has the best locatioon

Excellent location and well kept apartment. The only downside I see is that the building does not have elevators. So carrying luggage upto the 4th floor could be challenging for some people.

This place is a dump. It’s not taken care of. Stained pillows and linens stuffed in the wardrobe. Chipped dishes, broken drawers. Balcony was dirty and unusable. Really not worth the price. We stayed in apt. 201 but it’s hard to see what unit you are booking on Expedia. Wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free.

Fabulously located apartment in the heart of Reykjavík. The apartments are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Let down slightly by the entrance and stairwell which could benefit from a face lift.

Nice apartment central location

Great spacious apartment in central location. Comfortable beds and clean fresh bedding. Towels a little worn. Kitchen had plenty of equipment and enough crockery, glassware etc. Apartment could benefit a deep clean high areas and men’s pants found in washing machine. Due to central location we did have some noise in street until late, but this could be expected.

Gem in the heart of Reyjavik.

We had a wonderful stay here at this comfortable and clean apartment situated right in the heart of Reykjavik. We stayed in the winter, but it may be very busy in warmer months. I would highly recommend this property as there is everything you need nearby, it is a lovely place, and the communication and ease of use with owners was excellent.

Situated in the heart of downtown, Iðunn Apartments offers convenient walking distance access to all the area's attractions. It's an excellent choice for first-time tourists such as ourselves.The apartment itself is impeccably clean and cozy. The fully equipped kitchen of the apartment, coupled with the proximity of the Bonus grocery store, caters to those who prefer to prepare their own meals. Perfect Space!

This flat ended up being our perfect last minute home away from home! Our travel plans changed due to weather conditions and the property management team was so kind in helping us stay for an extra night! The space was cozy, comfy and right in the heart of the Reykjavík shopping, food and drink scene. We’ve already thought about planning a future trip back. We had a balcony overlooking the main streets and a kitchen to prepare breakfast for family staying at a hotel down the street. Great stay altogether and wonderful communication with the management!
