Really great location and well equipped, but the property is extremely loud. Also no help with early check in which is hard considering if you’re coming from the USA you’ve got to kill a day outside while you’re exhausted and feel dirty from a long flight. You will need to wear headphones to go to sleep. Otherwise noise will keep you up all night long.

It was difficult to find...you have to pay to park on the street... nearly impossible to find a parking spot anywhere near the place. It is located in the heart of town where all the action is,and you can drink and walk back to your place. There is great food very close outside the door. Very clean.great space. Lots of noise on the street all night. The most uncomfortable beds ever slept on. Felt like a down duve on top of a box springs. Nice kitchenette in the room .

We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect to explore the best of Reykjavik on foot, but also to catch transfers to see all of the natural beauty. Our tours took us as far as Vik and the Katla Glaciers, and it was so relaxing to come back to our warm comfortable room. And the shower… I can’t explain how much I’ll miss the shower. It’s a spa-like zen experience which is so cleansing after a chilly day seeing waterfalls, ice caves and geysers. On days we didn’t have tours it was a 10-15 minute walk to all of the restaurants and shopping you could ever want. If I could start over and experience it all again I would.

This property could have easily been a 5 star all the way. It was clean, spaceous enough, comfortable, convenient and with many wonderful restaurants and places around....very central. What ruined the review is the colossal amount of noise especially at night....no exaggeration. Our room was overlooking the street and we could have very well been sleeping on the street. Not a single quiet night of restful sleep. The rooms ansolutely need to be sound proofed. We were hearing yelling, singing, shouting, partying all night long until around 5am....and then the city truck at 6am washing the street after lare night drunk party goers. I tried to chamge rooms but staff ignored my request and never followed up on my email. Love Iceland but will not be staying at tgis propery afain because of the extreme unreasonable noise.
