Third time stayed at the motel while traveling through New Mexico. Property is well managed, and rooms are clean. It is an older motel, but everything is well maintained. We stayed in a queen room this time. It was a bit small, but worked for a night's sleep. Would stay again.

Vacation get away or road trip stop

Such a cute town. And this family owned and run hotel is well worth the stay it's off the beaten path and sidewalks role up at 10 so keep in mind if you get in late you will have to wait until morning to do any last min shopping

The property and rooms are all older. That said, they are all very well maintained. They are also clean. It is a small privately owned place, so if you need to speak with a person on the phone, there are only certain hours you can do that. It would be nice to have an ice machine available. Overall though, the place is well kept and the lady who runs the place is doing a good job, and it is obvious that she has put a lot of work into her small business, so I don't mind staying at the Robin Hood versus some others in town when I am in the area.

The woman that checked us in was wonderful. She gave us tips for our trip to the volcano and other interesting areas to visit. She also directed us to K-Bob's for dinner which was excellent.

I have stayed here multiple times on road trips from Alberta to Texas, it is always clean and quiet with a throwback charm. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The showers are hot and the beds comfortable which is what one wants after a long day on the road. I would definitely recommend and I will be staying here again on future trips through Raton.

It was clean and the staff was excellent but everything needs to be upgraded and the facility has been neglected and seems to not have been upgrade since the 70’s.
