Loved our stay! This motel is very very special. Friendly owners greeted us, easy to check in and out, lovely breakfast snacks and coffee/tea. The room was very clean, with nice memory mattress, great water pressure in the shower. A truly great value for a unique experience. We will stay here again for sure!

Awesome place to stay

The owners were so sweet. We arrived later in the evening and they were very helpful at letting us know what was open to get a bite to eat. This is just the cutest place to stay. So clean and the rooms are themed.

Very good, but a couple issues

A great little retro motel in Raton NM, but the mattress in my room (#11) was saggy and soft, and the toilet and bathroom sink are very low to the ground, making them rather awkward to use.

5 star motel in my book

This is the place all other motels need to look up to! Our room was clean & comfortable, the owners are super friendly, and the whole vibe of the place just works. Although it’s older, things have been updated and maintained. We got some great dinner recommendations when we asked about that during check in. When we were leaving the next day we got some great travel/sightseeing recommendations. We stayed in the pin-up room, if you’re modest definitely choose a different room, although it didn’t bother us. This is THE best place we’ve stayed in many many years and will definitely stop in again if we ever travel through Raton.

Best little place I’ve ever stayed

Coolest little motel I’ve ever stayed in. Small one story with great owners. Clean and in a great location. All the rooms have different themes so when you saw someone in another room you asked to see theirs or they asked to see your room theme. It was awesome!

The motel was great, owners super friendly. You can see they take great pride in the property. Had 2 rooms. Loved the location. If in the area hit the Capulin Volcano, family loved it.

The town is sadly rundown. On a Monday, most restaurants are closed and only one served adult beverages. The room smelled like it had been overly sprayed with deodorizer. The a/c was ok after running a couple of hours. We have stayed at retro motels before and this one didn’t meet our expectations. The owner was super sweet and helpful.
