"We stayed in September being a bit in the off season. The hotel was nowhere near capacity which made for some awesome days by the pool. From Sunday to about Thursday, we had pick of the chairs and basically the pools to ourselves. This being said not everything is open all the time. The main buffet was only open for breakfast during the week, and fully open Fri thru Sun. This was not an issue as the restaurants rotated daily for lunch and dinner, we also preferred the À la Carte menu and service. The food was excellent. We never had a bad meal. The service was top notch and extremely friendly. This includes all the staff from the front desk to the maids. Our concierge, Gabriel, was one of the most helpful and friendly people we could have. He made sure everything from our bookings to our room and stay was priority. Pools were nice, a little worn as was the majority of the hotel. The hotel in general needs a little TLC to get it to where I believe it was probably 20 years ago. Beds are comfy. Turn down service was offered daily and the room was clean overall. When the price is right, I believe this place to be a good value. I'd be curious to see how it operates when it's closer to capacity."
