Nice Balcony with amazing view.Very good air conditioner in the room and comfortable bed.The room was clean and big.The design of the room is simple and the kitchenette corner is very poor.No toaster,no microwave,no sinc. Its a 5-10 min walk from the parking to many of the appartements.No coffee place or shop.

This was lovely though we prefer the wider angle view without the wall on the left side of the balcony but really we have no complaints. Pretty awesome to see this view from bed.

Nice room with updated bathroom. Carpet wasn’t the cleanest & some furniture was broken. Overall, it was comfortable and conveniently located on the property near the laundry and pool.

Dear Discover Kelowna team, thank you for the good management. On the day we arrived, April sent detailed text message and guide me to the place and how to obtain key. The condo is very spacious, clean, classic and adorable. It is very easy to access most dowtown attractions on foot, which perfectly fits for my family needs without a vehicle. I will surely re-visit and book this place if we will travel to Kelowna again in the future. Thank you again to the team and owner for this lovely suite.

Great room

We had stayed at the Hanalei Bay Resort before, and were thrilled to find a privately owned room to stay at this time when the resort was sold out. We were pleasantly surprised at how similar the check-in process was to staying as a regular hotel guest. We still enjoyed all the amenities of the hotel. The room was clean, nicely decorated & stocked with everything we needed. We loved our stay!

Beautiful place but….

The place was clean and modern. Gorgeous view, friendly staff. No kitchenette, no microwave. No guests allowed to visit at pool, bar/restaurant opens late, no place for breakfast or dinner. We arrived at noon and we could not check in early even though our room was ready. No response from the mgmt company. Also, hidden fees that we had to pay the hotel.parking and daily hotel fees.

Beautiful views and lovely resort.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The location was further out from the main entrance which we knew prior to booking but we liked that and were able to get extra steps in! The property was clean & had a few more items than listed which was a great surprise. The views were gorgeous and the staff were friendly. We were here for a wedding and only wished we had more time to enjoy the amenities.

Exceeded expectations :)

Property was immaculate, such lovely landscaping, check in was super friendly, we loved the Happy Talk restaurant. Our room was perfect for a week-- excellent views, love the shower fixtures, awesome mattress. We thought it was a great value, and especially loved the easy walk to the beach and access to Hanalei 1--- the coffee shop. Would love to return soon- had the best time!!!!

INACCURATE AND FALSE listing -- Beware!!

Was listed online as 1,324 square feet, but in reality was barely over 500 (confirmed with the property manager by getting a floor plan). Although the unit was clean and had a nice view, this was a deal breaker and the inaccuracy of the listing was pretty upsetting. I canceled my stay and checked out early.

Great Stay

I want to give a thorough review of the property and the unit specifically. For clarification purposes, the unit is a private rental, not a direct rental through Hanalei Bay Resort. The check-in process (where you pay for parking and the additional daily fee) was helpful and fairly easy. The unit provides most of the things you'll need for a short stay. There is a microwave and cooking facilities outside by the smaller pool, but these are not provided in-unit. It would have been nice if a few additional things were provided in this unit; I would not recommend staying here for more than 5-ish days. The view from the lanai is stunning, and it doesn't get much better than the grounds within the resort. Definitely consider a shorter stay here. It's a good value for the location.

The Perfect Stay

My husband and I are so happy we stayed here. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We wish we could stay. Beautiful location. We spent so much time on our lanai taking in the magical Hanalei views wow! The entire room is clean and spacious and with a comfy large bed. We were thankful for the resort staff and rental manager who were all responsive and helpful with any of our questions or needs. We will definitely be back to stay here again! Thank you!!!

Good location, terrible communication

The property, Hanalei Bay Resort, is beautiful however I probably wouldn’t recommend this specific unit. There was an ironing board but no iron. I messaged the host to get an iron as it was my husbands birthday and had a nice dinner planned. The host told me I need to email the property management company, who told me I need to contact the front desk, who told me I need to contact the property management company (since it’s a private unit and they don’t handle anything going on inside the unit), who then told me I need to contact the property management on site liaison and they would have that person contact me - obviously that never happened. Can’t imagine what would happen if there was a real issue like the a/c being out. Also property lists there is a microwave but there wasn’t, just mini fridge, coffee pot, and plates and silverware. The view is great but I’d recommend looking for one with a different host.

Hana Lai Bay resort.

Room was exactly what we anticipated. Small efficiency with coffee pot. Mostly the view of the area was superb! Beautiful sunsets, just breath taking!! Loved the experience! Would definitely book here again!

Wonderful Location in Princeville

Location was wonderful, but the front desk check-in experience was really poor. They made it sound like a resort, but come to find out, you truly cannot take advantage of any of the amenities of the resort (other than the pools) unless you are a resort guest (i.e. you cannot ask for extra towels or toiletries unless you are a guest of the resort rather than booking through VRBO. The property manager "made an exception" and got us towels, but it was not the "norm". Also, the pool bar is only open Th - Sun, so us staying there through the week was not as pleasurable. Also, the front desk did not inform us of all the good restaurants and grocery stores around, so we did not know about them until our last day. Good to know for next time.
