The Perfect Kauai Getaway!

Hale Maluhia is a large, fully equipped condominium/studio unit fronting on a tree lined walking path leading down to Anini Beach. It has a large, well equipped kitchenette, Queen size bed, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, a full bath, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear and a portable cooler (no laundry facilities though). The lanai is perfect for stargazing or just enjoying some quiet outdoor reading. There's reserved parking, a great pool area with a communal barbecue, and shopping and restaurants are just minutes away. Stays are limited to a maximum Stays are limited to a maximum of 2 adults (over 25 years old) and 7 nights. Princeville at Hanalei's location is conveniently close to Kilauea, Hanalei and the rest of Kauai's North Shore's numerous beaches and features. We loved our time in Kauai and in the Paniolo condos. The room was clean and Rick had all the kitchen supplies you could need. One piece of advice, read through the red folder when you check in. It wasn’t until the morning we left that I realized we had snorkel equipment in a box on the porch and I never got to use it!

Stay was just ok. Instructions and parking directions were helpful. Ok clean. Nice little deck outside. The bed was a little too small and hard for two people and the kitchen lacked a stovetop. You could hear the people walking around above us when we were sleeping.

Rick was really responsive when we had a request. He let us check in early. The humidity caused us to need to hit a laundry facility half way through because the towels don’t dry very fast. An extra big POWERFUL fan would make it a little more comfy but it did cool down enough at night to sleep with the fans provided. Overall a really great stay, especially for the price. Location is nice. Thank you for the great stay.

Absolutely perfect!

My husband and I just spent 7 days here. The host, Rick, is true to his word about wanting to create a space that is restful, well equipped, and comfortable. We cooked full meals here using the toaster oven and hot skillet, enjoyed coffee on the porch, and loved walking to the beach that was just 8 minutes away. Would highly recommend staying here - it was quiet, felt safe, and a great distance from a lot of good adventure opportunities. Thank you for an awesome week on Kauai!

Convient by and easy

Easy to find with the directions and check in process after a long flight. The property was clean and very lively from people taking walks and cats and chickens of course. Defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on the north side of Kauai. :)

Perfect home base on Kauai

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this compact condo! Rick has clearly gone to great lengths to provide everything vacationers could need from a small cooler chest for outings to a complete assortment of shower products and ample back up of tp and paper towels. The small kitchen set up was just right for prepping meals to cook on the grill by the pool. Overall great stay and we would book this unit again!

Wonderful 5-Night Stay

I had a great 5-night stay at this property. The host was very accommodating and I could tell that they put in a lot of thought to providing a comfortable stay for their guests.
