Beautiful grounds and amazing pools. Rooms were excellent.

Nice place to stay and wonderful staff.I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay. Wonderful experience. No hotel attached beach is the only draw back but plenty of near by beaches with shuttle.

Amazing service and breath taking views. Would definitely come back and stay here and visit the beautiful island of Kauai

Nice pool areas and property is on cliff overlooking beautiful pacific ocean

Great hotel with nice pools. Wonderful staff. Everything you could want or need on site except the beach. We will return.

Loved all the amenities in the room like a washer/dryer and kitchenette. The jetted tub was nice and the bed was comfy. The pools were great; I liked that you could take your own food drinks to the pools. The one bummer was the large, noisy industrial chiller that was located near the pool and close to our room with a patio. We just didn’t use the patio and kept our sliding glass door shut because of the noise.

Awesome ocean views, at least from parts of the resort.

Good experience, weather was a large negative factor during our visit - with historic rains and flooding. The staff responded well and despite being personally dismayed at the weather factors I realize it was out of everyone's control and I empathize with the impact on the local communities and population.

The facility was very nice. Room was spacious and clean for the most part. Valet and Front desk staff were great and efficient. The restaurant staff, decor, food, and cleanliness needs some improvement. Overall, a good experience, but have some room for improvement.

Bed was hard, uncomfortable. Every thing else was good. Very good staff all the way around. Positive place and very clean.

Beautiful property in the most scenic part of the island. Away from the crowds and very tropical. Easy access to Anini Beach and Hanalei. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

This is a very nice resort that I would describe as family-oriented: stayed for 5 days with my husband and said over and over again that when we do have kids and return to Kauai, it will definitely be at the Westin! Each room has a kitchenette that is fully stocked, a stacked washer/dryer which is extremely useful if you are going to adventure and get sweaty, and a jacuzzi tub. The property has a TON of grills/eating space which, though not super cost effective for a couple, would be an incredible perk for a larger group since the restaurants at the Westin and nearby St. Regis are crazy expensive. The pools are lovely & grounds are well-manicured and festive. Only semi-cons: our first room smelled strongly of smoke and we had to switch (it IS supposed to be a no-smoking property, and the front desk staff were apologetic and swiftly gave us a new room but that sort of put a damper on things out of the gates), the gym is pretty small and gets crowded in the AM when everyone is racing to work out before the day's adventures, there is no beach immediately available but you can go to St. Regis beach for free (honestly overrated, it's a rocky/small beach but if you want a place to order drinks and lounge you can do this), and decor is somewhat dated. Overall a wonderful experience, though!

It was awsom, I liked the beautiful view, great people at the front desk,we'll always remember our amazing experience at the Westin Princeville Kauai

Had pretty much everything you expect in a resort type hotel

This hotel has a 10:00 am check out, yes you heard me right 10:00 am, so much for an enjoyable last day. The rooms even the singles are decent sized. The single rooms have a door adjoining two rooms which isn’t a problem unless the family in the adjoining room has Damien as their child, as was the case with our room. The walls and in particular the door are about as noise insulating as a bullhorn, fortunately the hotel staff was very accommodating and moved us to a quieter location, by the quiet pool. The hotel really needs to define what the quiet pool rules are, we were told to by a guest that meant no talking whatsoever and she complained about us talking at a normal tone. There were other times when there were several adults not being quiet and no one seemed to care. I would suggest to the hotel make one of the pools in the middle section an adult only pool or change the quiet pool to be adults only to avoid conflicts.

We enjoyed our stay here. We upgraded our room to a one bedroom and it was very comfortable. Only negative was 2 noise factors in our room: every night there was a knocking sound coming from the furnace inside our walls from the AC running and stopping, also the toilet kept running which we could hear even when the door was closed. The rest of our experience was positive. Our kids loved that the pool was open until 10pm and they had some toys/floats we could borrow.

Upgraded our room to a fabulous suite, lots of perks and gifts. Great concierge personnel and service.

The hotel is not on the beach, but you get full access to the St Regis beach and facilities. The villas have amenities such as washer/dryer, grills, ect. The bed is okay, no good views. The food at both hotels (Westin and St Regis) is extremely overpriced and is just terrible. E.g. we had a sushi roll for $27 and I can honestly say that sushi that I get in an NYC convenient store for $5-10 is of higher quality. Service is great, everyone is friendly. Drinks are okay, the beach is not the best and has rocks and corals, so okay (sort of - it is very shallow) for snorkeling, but not so much if you are looking to go for a swim.

I had to stay over for a night - after a trip from Japan. I went to bed early and I was surprised by the comfort. Soft but great support. It felt so cozy. I have trouble sleeping since I travel about 80 percent of the year. No trouble sleeping at the Westin. Most of the time after a long trip my body is stiff and my neck hurts. Not this time. It was hard to part with the bed. In the morning I noticed there was a washer and dryer in the room. What a great idea. Small stove and little kitchen. Didn't have the need or time to use it but very convinient I though. Great pool area too. My friends come to Princeville often and stay at Westin few times a month just because kids love the pool. I come to eat lunches here with friends. Food is good and the restaurant overlooks pool area so it's nice and relaxing. Overall I was little surprised how nice the place was. I'm online shopping for my Westin BED!!! Not my first time at Westin brand hotel but for some reason first time noticing the comfort.
