This is a beautiful restored farmhouse when one feel immediately at home

The farmhouse is situated on a half acre and has been beautifully restored. Our family commented many times about how comfortable and at home they felt.

Our family was at a softball tournament at North Marion. This home exceeded all our expectations! We have booked again in August for our schools shopping trip! Love love love this home.

Once a year meeting of cherished friends!

Thank you so much Our Sweet Retreat for providing everything we needed for a warm, friendly, relaxing weekend. The decor is amazing and the feel is comfort. The kitchen is so well stocked that we did not have to bring anything but our food. Even the spices and paper product were available. We give it a five star rating and hope to stay again in the future. Blessings!

Exceptional accommodations

Our stay at the Sweet Retreat was top notch! We were in town for my son’s wedding, and we couldn’t have found a better place. Noelle has thought of everything, and was such an excellent communicator that it made our trip all the more enjoyable. We had a houseful and yet never felt cramped. There was so much space to spread out; both inside and out. We can’t recommend this place enough. Stay here. I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is our second stay at this beautiful home! Everything you would ever need is right there! This is the most peaceful home I have ever stayed in and would love to come back soon. Wonderful Family Getaway

During a home remodel we were looking for a place for our family to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday break. I discovered Sweet Retreat online and worked with Noelle to secure a 5 night stay. Noelle was wonderful to work with and the home was immaculate - additionally we were greeted with a variety of local goods as a special treat when we entered the home. The warmth and coziness of the home in addition to the decor was perfect for our time with the family. The house has beautiful touches throughout and all the supplies needed for a restful and relaxing. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful stay we had and how perfect it was for our family over the holiday.

Absolutely Fabulous Stay at Our Sweet Retreat

We knew the moment we walked in we were going to have a very special week in Wilsonville. The house was perfect for our family to gather during Thanksgiving week. The kitchen was amazing. Everything was labeled and every cooking utensil and amenity was there! The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean. The setup was great for us—we spent hours at the long dining table that’s really the center of the main floor together as a family—it was lovely! The host is friendly, communicative, and leaves easy to follow guidelines for how to have a successful stay.

Amazing stay!

Noelle and Bob have a truly unique property with a vibe and experience unlike any other vacation rental. Noelle is a gracious host! Soon after you step in you realize that the hosts have put in a lot of effort and time in building this ‘Magnolia Homes’ inspired farmhouse. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with high quality utensils. The lawn is lush and sprawling and has a firepit for some afternoon s’mores. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property has a very cosy and well appointed cabin with a attic style bed separate from the main structure. There’s also an on-site camper available for rent. Would 100% stay again!

5 Star is not enough!

Not one thing has been forgotten. The house and property was very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with top notch tools and appliances. Noelle checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed. We were there for my daughters wedding, so glad we found this house. We even rented the vintage trailer on the property for my daughter. She loved it it was very cute and she loved the outdoor soaking tub. We will definitely be renting again on our trips to Oregon.

A dreamy home away from home

Hands down the best home rental I’ve experienced. We came to visit family for Christmas - upon arrival we noticed so many thoughtful Christmas decorations and a tree inside. Our kids were so thrilled (and reassured that Santa would know where to send their presents!) Aside from the holiday cheer, the house was just incredibly well planned. Anything and everything you could need is there (and more). The space is wonderful, beds are luxurious, kitchen is incredible, and the yard is spacious and well manicured. The host is easily reachable and helpful - great communication. I could go on and on. If you’re looking for a true retreat of a vacation home, this is it!

5 Stars is not enough!!

5 Stars is not a high enough rating to describe this beautiful and beautifully equipped home. Because we have family all over the country, we rent many homes through VRBO and other such sites. "Our Sweet Retreat" is by far the cleanest, most user-friendly, well equipped home in which we have ever stayed. The set-up (including the separate loft) was family friendly and had all the amenities and more that you would expect. Most impressively, the kitchen and cooking supplies (glasses, plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils) were amazing. Unlike most of our previous short-term rentals, my wife and I had everything and more we needed to host our kids and grandkids for a fabulous Thanksgiving feast. To make the experience even more amazing, the few minor questions we had were immediately addressed by Noelle and/or her husband - who were both always available, friendly, and helpful. On a scale of 1 to 10 this house is a 12+ - we can and will plan on staying at "Our Sweet Retreat" as often as we can!!

Home away from Home

When you first walk into this beautiful VRBO you feel like you've walked into a magazine. It was clean, homey, and welcoming with a snack and local wine left from our wonderful hosts. Noelle was in contact from the beginning and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a multigenerational family gathering with this wonderful VRBO as our home base. We had a full house with kids, teens, parents and grands. This home had everything we could even think to use. We cook when we get together, and the kitchen was fully stocked, with all of the dishes/utensils we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were cozy and every need had been thought of in advance. We loved having a large dining table for our family meals. But the true highlight was the backyard, at least for the boys. With room to roam, and a bocce ball court, we were constantly entertained. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. This farmhouse VRBO is so beautifully restored, you can tell that they put a lot of love into this home, and it was the perfect place for our family to reconnect.

Sweet Retreat Lives Up to Its Name

Bob & Noelle have thought of everything. Their Sweet Retreat is an inviting and welcoming space, furnished and decorated with a designer’s touch, and warm hospitality in mind. The perfect mix of old world charm and modern convenience and comfort, this home begs one to put their feet up or curl up with a good book. Our grandkids were immediately drawn to the loft, where kid size table and chairs, art supplies, and a collection of games were provided. A fully equipped and roomy gourmet kitchen includes just about anything one could want for preparing snacks and meals, all conveniently labeled, thereby eliminating the guess work when finding and putting items away. Sleeping accommodations, are equally thought out, providing clean, comfy beds and bedding for a great night’s rest. The entire house is very clean and in great repair. More than adequate if you just need a place to lay your head at night, as was our case being engaged with family events in the area. We look forward to returning another time, when we’re not pulled in different directions and can more fully enjoy this sweet retreat. It really lives up to its name.

Stunning Farm House with everything you could need!

This stunning farmhouse in Wilsonville was a perfect place to make family memories for my daughter's wedding. Her Venue was close by at Langdon Farms, so it was a 6-minute drive to the location. This made it perfect for our family for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding the next day. As the mother of The Bride and runner, there was a perfect trail to the north, just down the street that amazing to get out on and relax. This area simply has everything needed with grocery stores and restaurants just down the street to a mall not far off the freeway. The home is so charming with all amenities you need for your stay. The beds comfortable and I loved all the baskets of cozy blankets to snuggle up with on the couch and watch movies. But I think my favorite part was the game Amore upstairs. In the evening we played all the games and had lots of laughs. It was such a perfect time for our family. And this home made us feel like we were at home! The owners thought of everything, from the welcome local treats of farm fresh eggs and bottle of wine to the call upon our arrival to be sure we didn't need anything. This was a trip we will never forget! And honestly the best vacation home we have ever stayed in! This place, location and everything about it is a 10 out of 10!
