Th problem wasn’t the property it was the lack of support I received from Orbitz when the property couldn’t locate my reservation. I tried fruitlessly to get orbitz assistance and was ultimately able to work out myself. This is my last booking through unless Orbitz!
it's a standard motel 6, no carpet means no dust to trigger my allergies and looks clean!
I was changed for a stay I never received. One was canceled before check in and was told that I would still be charged so I spent $219-$220 for stays which I never stayed at either of these places
If I could give zero stars I would. Don't stay here. They over charged. They charged me for not showing up and for my reservation in full. I showed up, stayed all days and thought everything was ok. When I asked about t they demanded I give them a cancelation number.,,, Also it's by a rail road and the train comes by at midnight three am and again at four. Trust me. I stayed there!
Staff was not friendly. Mold found in bathroom. Lobby and hotel room both had musty smell. Hotel is across from railroad tracks and two trains rolled through blaring their horns in the middle of the night.
Don't stay here! Felt dangerous room Smelled, was dirty, everything was Sticky
Either Orbitz had not relayed my reservations to the motel or they were lost. Anyway there was no reservation for me when I got there to check in!!! Managers were so upset they forgot to be hospitable to me during my 20 minute wait. But when that was resolved a very capable kind maid carried my 60lb bag to second floor room that I had requested. Room had 80s decor, but was clean, good hot water, nice cold refrigerator, microwave, great bed and pillows! Loved the ac/heating unit. It not only controlled the temperature-it providered some gentle white noise. Tv worked well with lots of channels. Yes the train tracks are just across the street by but don't seem to run at night. I recommended this property to another lady coming a week later.
I flew into Portland, single, 67, rented my little car, toured Portland and arrived before sunset, was very easy to find with my GPS. Though the hotel looked older my room was comfortable and clean. We camp a lot so I'm not into high end, expensive hotels. The train was on the other side of the same highway and went by often, blasting the horn because of the crossroad, but I adapted very quickly-sensitive ears would not like it. The exterior was well lit and I felt safe, the room locks were good, my downstairs room had two sets of windows, overlaying each other, with a 1 foot space between them, maybe it was to muffle the train noise - I felt very safe (I was alone). Toast, bagels, juice, cereal, milk & coffee were available in the lobby to take back to your room on a tray, simple, but appreciated. Room had a microwave and refrig- great for snacking and a frozen dinner one night! I think I was the only guest at the wedding to stay in town, the others had to navigate 30 minutes away, but I did not need "high end" accommodations.
I asked for non smoking when I reserved it, all they had when I checked in was a smoking room.
Nice little Hotel in a nice little Town. I love the people in Canby they are so friendy.
They said we had no reservation then offered us a room. We asked them to look it up on line they refused said that isnt how it works. We said we have confirmation for on line paid reservation. We had to talk to our reservation site to get a refund. First told us no pets then after we reminded them our confirmation said pets ok they said ok but it costs extra. My family was very upset and refused to ever stay there.
we where there for a baseball game, apon checking in, we could not understand a single word the man checking us in, was saying. the room smelled like mildew , there were stains on the matresses, and walls, [food i hope], could'nt wait to check out!!!!

We are confused on what this review is talking about. Sorry for everything. I never charged anyone $220 for a stay that did not happend. If you have any questions contract Orbitz.
