This was not a pleasant stay, and honestly not the type of hotel you intentionally book—it feels more like a place you end up at after a long drive with no other options. I checked in overnight and was greeted by an unfriendly staff member who made me feel unwelcome right away. The hotel itself is dark, dingy, and clearly in desperate need of a renovation.
Thankfully, I did encounter two bright spots during my stay. The young lady taking care of the rooms was extremely friendly, courteous, and caring. In the morning, I was also greeted by another young lady who was very pleasant and professional. Without these two employees, my rating would have been even lower.
Overall, this was just not a good experience, and I was relieved that I was only staying for two nights. I expect more from a Best Western, and the corporate team should absolutely come and take a serious look at this location.
