Room was clean and basic. Sink definitely needed an upgrade. Arrived at 6 pm - for a 3 pm check in - room was not ready. Were told we had to wait. When we got our room it was right next to the breakfast room and the front desk. Outside the window was the outside fire pit /recreation area. The noisy rec area was shut down by 10 pm. In the meantime we had to keep our curtains closed. Discovered how loud the microwave was as it was used throughout the night and in the early morning. The constant ding was an absolute disgrace. All in all a hotel we will it be returning to …ever. Very unsatisfactory stay.

Worst hotel experience in my life. As we arrived, the parking lot was being re-surfaced, tar everywhere. The breakfast was terrible, ice cold eggs,lukewarm sauces and the pancake making device did no work. Checked out early after second night. The Clark on duty was unable to print out a receipt or to explain why that was the case

I selected this hotel because it was the only one that had rooms available and it seemed decent by what I could tell online. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about the cleanliness, but that proved to be not an issue at all. The room was adequate comfortable, and the check-in process was simple. It's in a convenient location and if you're just looking for a simple room and a clean bed to sleep in this checks those boxes.

Think twice before you stay here!

The room appeared clean but the rug hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Very small bath towels and they were not refreshed each day unless you went to the front desk to get them yourself. Plants growing out of the rain gutters.

The room smelled very badly of cigarettes. Actually the entire motel did. There was mold on our sink, and mildew on the shower curtain which hasn't been changed in quite some time. I understand this is a budget hotel but this hotel was not clean at all and is a health hazard.

The hotel itself was alright, but my main issue is that the outside door that entered the hotel didn't lock or have a key card, so anyone could enter. Also, my hotel room door didn't have a bolt or manual lock either, and the door took a lot of effort to actually close (once I accidentally didn't close it hard enough so it just stayed open). The hotel also had a lot of really big vans and men lingering outside around 10:00/11:00 pm and idk if they were there as guests or just hanging out, but I didn't love that. So overall, I didn't feel very safe at this hotel and it wasn't the cleanest experience.

Mattress in the room was really bad, worn off and sinking! Staff was average, breakfast was average / poor. There are better locations on the route. Freeport is nothing special and not many restaurants

Front desk clerk was very difficult to understand and the chicken transaction took a very long time. The rooms are old and need of a refresh…. There is black mold underneath the caulking in the showers, and the bathroom fan hums like a banshee.

Stayed one night. Room was very comfortable with nice king bed. Appreciate the light complimentary breakfast. Conveniently located 1/2 mile from the footbridge beach. We would stay again!

The lobby, dining area and rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos. The rooms are clean but need a bit of maintenance. The curtain was ripped, the coffee machine didn't work, the fridge was cool not cold so I kept my milk on ice each night and the desk chair definitely need to be replaced. The staff only enters the room upon request and said that if you need any more towels or shampoo/conditioner/soap to just ask. We did ask for more supplies to which we were happily handed extras. The breakfast was ok, slightly changing each day (scrambled eggs, then an omelet, some days danishes, other days muffins instead). The tea, coffee and water and juice was available 24 hours. The staff was extremely nice. Its an acceptable place for a night or two but due to it's size, its becomes a bit tight for more than a 2 night stay. During our stay it seemed like most guests were workers who were there for an extended stay or guests stopping over for one night on their way to a different location. Downtown Freeport is about a 5 min drive from the hotel and Old Port is about 20-25 mins from the hotel.

The room had a bad odor. The mattress was way too soft for my liking. No workout room. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly.

Family trip to LL Bean!

Found a pair of dirty socks in the room. No blackout curtains on the windows. Otherwise room was clean and no blackout curtains was not an issue. Would have asked for them if it had been an issue.

Never have I given such a low rating to an establishment that I booked through Expedia. Upon entering the lobby to check in the smell of laundry detergent was extremely unpleasant. As we made our way to the counter we saw why as the door directly behind the counter was open. Staff at check in was friendly and were able to complete the transaction quickly. When we got to the parking area near our entrance we discover an out of service vehicle that hasn’t moved in a long time. Trash cans outside of the building were completely filled and running over. Entering the hallway near our room and the smell was a cross between laundry detergent and something trying to mask the smell. Our room was musty and smelled like Fritos. Bathroom was not clean with hair remaining in shower and shower curtain was moldy and stained. Carpet in room turned my socks black and needs to be shampooed or replaced. We thought about asking for another room but figured with the smell throughout the facility that we wouldn’t do any better. We chose not to partake in the “breakfast” based on the cleanliness of the facility. While pictures look good, they don’t tell a complete picture. Would not recommend.

Newly Renovated?” …If By Renovated You Mean Musty Mold & Leftover Hair Wow. What a gem! If you love sleeping in a damp carpet that smells like wet dog and mold, this is your dream vacation spot. Who needs clean sheets when you can play “find the stranger’s hair” in your bed and on your facecloth? Bonus points for the black mold ring in the microwave and hair in the fridge—because nothing says luxury like a side of fungus with your leftovers. The king bed? Felt like lying in a sinkhole. The “updated” bathroom? Dirty tub, grimy window—super chic. Pro tip: keep your shoes on at all times unless you’re into squishy carpet adventures. If you have allergies, asthma, or, you know, standards—do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else. Photos look nice because Photoshop is free. Reviews are glowing because apparently fiction is too.
