"We had to wait in a line of about 15 people and 40 minutes to check in around 5:30pm on Saturday afternoon. The front desk could have used another person or two to help with the process. When we got to the oceanfront room the smoke detector was "chirping" meaning a low battery. If the maids cleaned the room why didn't they hear it? We listen to it all night because I knew the front desk was already overwhelmed and we would probably wait for hours anyway. The view was decent but we checked out as early as we could the next morning never using the pool (closed until 9am) or hot tub. Also, the breakfast should just be eliminated. Just your choice of sugar loaded donuts, just eliminate it completely. We had to cross the 4 line highway with no cross walk for the hotel to IHOP. A little embarrassed for my fiance but I wish you luck!"
