Christmas Getaway

We needed a place that our entire family could meet up for Christmas. We spent five days that week at this lovely cabin. It was close enough to Placerville (20 min) to make it convenient for an excursion but remote enough to be away from everything. We found great hiking, enjoyed the hot tub, competed at billiards, and connected around the dinner table. The cabin itself was well furnished and comfortable for a large group. The deck, fire pit, barrel sauna, and large picture windows were a great touch. The owner was very thoughtful in setting up a Christmas tree for us which made it extra special. All in all it was a delightful time.

Weekend Getaway Fun

This log cabin is absolutely beautiful! I especially loved the huge windows with its majestic view—it’s breathtaking. The place was spotlessly clean and incredibly spacious.The only downside was the presence of three Ring cameras by the hot tub, which felt a bit unnerving. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

We came for a race. The race was cancelled and we decided to enjoy the family time. The storm came through and we hunkered down and relaxed together. There were fun arcade games to enjoy as well as a hot tub to soak in

Hosts dream

We needed a home that slept 6 but had enough entertaining room to host my family from out of town as well as for my son and his groomsmen to get ready for the wedding. This was perfect! My grandchildren (and groomsmen) were thrilled with the games, the family was able to congregate in the upstairs area and we kept all 10 groomsmen downstairs and outside, away from the Littles. We fixed daily breakfasts and a lovely stew in the well stocked kitchen. The electric fireplace was perfect on a cool Sunday morning. Everyone loved the setting and the easy flow layout of the home! (be prepared if you have a lot of groceries, the kitchen is upstairs)

Relaxing 4th of July vacation

We had a great time at Sergey and Clara's cabin. The owners are incredibly responsive and when the AC went out on the first morning of our stay (July 4th), Sergey tried to get an HVAC repairman out that day to fix it but couldn't get anyone to come out on a holiday, so he immediately brought us a bunch of fans and offered us a huge portable AC unit until he could get an HVAC serviceman out to fix it the next day. The very next day it was up and running and all was well. There is plenty to do for the whole family and is only a quick 18 minute drive to downtown Placerville which is really cute and has tons of good places to eat and shop. I highly recommend this vacation home.

Nice log cabin. Beautifully decorated in rustic style. House located on a hill. The road is very narrow and steep. We couldn't turn on sauna. Would be nice to have clear instructions how to use it.

Rural getaway

This home has all you would need, no need to leave once you’re in. They have plenty of entertainment options and plenty of space so is great for large groups. The hosts are very kind and prompt with answering any questions, day or night. They made this a very pleasant experience, I hope to stay here again!

Unique & beautiful home!!

We had the most amazing time! The owners were great & the house was perfect for the 6 if us! Most of it like a log cabin & beautiful !! Everyone loved it! Highly recommend! Glass firepit, large jacuzzi & barrel sauna. Deer, turkeys & more! Thank you Sergey & Clara!
