Pirates vs brewers
The house was beautiful and very clean. There was plenty of sitting room for all 6 of us. The kitchen was small, only one person at a time could go in there but we managed. Had plenty of dishes. One thing would have been nice to have was the cover for the pots. There was only one cover. I would have to say and the owner did apologize that the listing said a bathroom on the first floor. I did not count the basement as the first floor so you had to walk up 17 steep stairs to use the bathroom. If I had any complaints it was the bathroom and stairs. I’m old and can’t manage stairs. If there had been a bathroom on the main floor, I would not have had to climb the stairs. I did hurt my leg, not at the property and the hosts did provide a potty chair for me to use. The only problem was no way to shower. We checked out a day early because of the no showering for me. The host did offer reimbursement due to my injury, I did not want the entire stay reimbursed. I did ask for my last day to be refunded but have not heard back from them. Communication was good prior to our visit and during our stay but as soon as we left, communication went dry. We cleaned the house and the pet place where Zina stayed. The hosts even gave our grandkids a gift and they loved it. A very nice gesture. Overall a very nice place.
